If you are frugal you've looked at how you can lower electricity bills. Is solar an answer? We take a look at the Allpowers R3500 & SP037 Solar Panels that have been sent to us.
We've looked at solar for years but it's been a very expensive option. Nowadays The Power Stations/Battery Boxes (with solar panels) market is thriving and offers a much more reasonable gateway into having a solar/battery set up to offset electricity usage and provide emergency back up.
Allpowers are running a Christmas sale as we mentioned in the video. Below are the extra discount code and links to the products featured in the video.

I have mine strapped to a dolly cart because I can’t lift it, but i can pull it around even up and down steps. Glad you have more power for emergencies. Merry Christmas!

I’m going to get something for mine too. We always get sun by our back door so hopefully I won’t need to move it so much. 42kg is a lot.

Another great show. We have been in France for 1.5 years now and have used only solar/heures cruese recharging for our washer and dryer for the whole time! We also use it for TV, internet, computers, spa pump (summer) and lights. Fridge of needed, but we are very lucky with no outages. I haven't moved mine from the laundry room on our 3rd floor. I use extension cords if needed and have an exterior run from my solar panels to the unit on the 3rd floor. Ours is a Bluetti AC200, and is priced about the same as your reviewed unit. Those interested may want to research add on battery options over time as well as remote control options like an APP which we find very helpful. Also may want to confirm one can recharge via solar and mains at same time if it matters. Thanks for all you do!

We added solar system with panels on the roof earlier this year, we live in South Africa where we have power cuts most days. We also have a solar hot water system, this month our electric bill was $5 plus $5 standing charge. It is the best thing we have done. The only appliances that are not connected are the stove and the hot water, I use my table top oven, microwave and my instant pot.

We have a hand truck to mover ours. We bought a Genoverse brand that is heavy. Same as yours . BUT we are adding a sub panel to our electrical panel . I am in NJ USA Once that is accomplished there will be no need to move the heavy Genoverse Power goes out just shut off main panel . Hook up solar battery generator to sub panel and turn on sub panel This system worked so well with our petro generator in NH . USA . Now our petro generator will be used to power the Genoverse. as well as our home electric We also have two smaller portable Jackery generators for areas not being powered by the sub panel . Not sure if France will allow the sub panel but itis sure the answer to moving such a heavy generator around.

They'll have a low rating as their sales are low. Plenty of people have bought their solar from allpowers without any problems. Whatever you buy, do your research.

i have 2 power stations. (Solar generators). The largest is 2400 watts and weighs 23kg (about 55 lbs). I don't have a solar panel for it because I live in a temperate rainforest and it is doubful I would lose power when the sun is shining. I paid $2020 CAD for it. It is an Ecoflow. I am in Canada.

I really wished they shipped to the USA. I would definitely be interested if so. I live in Florida, the Sunshine State (not today though...had a bad storm last night and it's gray and overcast now). We don't have high electricity prices where I live but could always use a backup for hurricane season.

It occurs to me that you could make or buy a small cart to put this unit on so you could move it around more easily. That would alleviate one negative! It seems a really good deal. I've long said that solar panels aren't really as useful as they could be if you don't have a battery to go with it.

We are mega tight with electricity and using the solar means we don’t have to which makes a difference. We’ll really see the difference in the summer. We melt in the summer heat and will be able to afford to run a portable air con unit which will make an immeasurable improvement to our lives. I already have reduced our bills from 65€ a month to 50€ a month.

I've recently purchased a AllPowers battery from their website. It will only turn on for about one second after plugging it in. It won't charge. The support is catastrophic. 4 days to reply between emails and we've still not moved on.

Request a replacement. I’m on lots of solar forums from Bluetti, Ecoflow and Jackery, equally on those forums, with all products, there are some complaints about the product and customer service.

I like the idea of this unit, but am not in a position to plug things into it... could it be hooked up directly into the electrical panel as an independent source of energy... where you would give it preferential usage then go back to normal power when the battery was spent?

I would welcome your experience with the S2000. You may remember that I recently took delivery of this unit, but have not been able to test it before today. Unfortunately, although we live here in France, the unit sent is fitted with German type F outlet points, and not the French type C. I have emailed the company but would be interested to know what type of outlet your unit has. I know I can buy an adapter, but would need 4, and am not really inclined to do that.

I’m very sorry to hear that, I use the S2000 in my sewing room, I charge it up at night on cheap rate and run my sewing machine and iron by day. I didn’t know German plug sockets were different, I thought all European sockets were the same. I learned something today. Can you email me please on frugalqueeninfrance@gmail.com
