When my Adopted Dad was in US NAVY and was based overseas he brought a set of this kind of brushes back for me ~ I make A4 handmade Dairy type Journal’s ( not with dates and days in them) it thought they may come in handy for me ~ I cherish them greatly and now even more now I know how much workmanship going into making them ~ very much appreciated!!❤

Our ancestors controlled their minds with this calligraphy Brush and recorded a lot. There was also a job as an officer(사관) of the who recorded history using a brush all day long because it has a lot of meaning.

Traditional CA glue and laser etching XD
@nightvisiongoggles Жыл бұрын
In ancient times glue would have been made of either tree sap or thick starch, or animal skin. Both are time-consuming to make and usually you need to use them within a limited amount of time because they harden after a while and would no longer be reusable if you don't use them up. They probably realized that it's more practical to adapt modern methods that won't affect the craftsmanship.

전통방식으로 만들어야 무형문화재의 의미가있는데 이건 좀 아닌거같은데 플라스틱, 록타이트, 한지도 아닌 잉크붙은 종이 사용 이게 문화재인가요?

Anyone ever made a brush with cat whiskers? I've been saving my cats and want to have a brush made with them.
@watrgrl22 жыл бұрын
Ive wondered the same thing! Cats lose whiskers from time to time and I had that same thought but I also think they wouldn’t work in paint brushes because the whisker has a pretty hard smooth cuticle that probably wouldn’t hold water. The reason some hair works better than others has to do with how they hold onto water and pigment and how they release that water/ pigment onto the paper as well as the amount of springiness or stiffness in the hair that allows it to snap back into its position after bending on the paper.
