Can I use Prosecco instead of champagne for the turkey?

My favorite has always been the stuffing/dressing. I'm also team jellied canned cranberries. 😁 Fantastic job, love this video.

You're quite the Dish! Learned the hard way thinking that I could thaw out a big bird overnight. It was a delightful video as you pranced around the kitchen with your charm and smile. I bet it would be partying with ya! Happy Thanksgiving.

The main thing I'd like to say, is take time to appreciate the fact you HAVE family and friends to cook for and gather with! All of our "gatherings " around my mom's big dining table are now in memories only. You appreciate them, but don't actually realize that in one year you could lose members of your family and that gathering HOME of 50 years is now suddenly someone else's home. Don't squabble or complain .....its truly a BLESSING. ❤❤❤

Yes, as we get older things change. My hubby and I are last in both families and we have no kids. We make something easy and watch football all day long. And remember, that's part of the day too. Love PegEgg

Yes, always cherish those memories!! My dad passed away several years ago and my mom is getting ready to sell the sprawling ranch we grew up on; she is too old to handle it by herself. My brother and sister-in-law moved there a few years ago to help her, but then my brother was in a bad accident on the ranch and now it is too much for him to handle too. You just never know what will happen. So this will be our last Thanksgiving and Christmas there. I am going to take tons of pictures and I am sure cry with my family but cherish every second of it!
@jules8910Ай бұрын
@Someone-vn9ce Awww, yes you will, but they will be great memories. 🩷

Creamy Mac and Cheese with candied Yams are the staples on my Thanksgiving table. Along with some sweet potato pie.

Wow, this turkey recipe is the best I have ever tried. The whole family loved it. Not only did it come out juice on the inside with a crisp skin on the outside, it was also the easiest to make with quickest clean up after. Thank you for helping to make our Thanksgiving even better than expected!

I was literally saying to myself yesterday that Nicole’s probably going to make a Thanksgiving video and lo and behold here it is!! 👏🙌
@maryallore478Ай бұрын
Nicole.....you nailed it!! Fabulous video, especially for those young people hosting their first holiday dinner. Lots of great tips! I couldn't agree with you more about the turkey.....I may have a sliver on my plate on the actual holiday, but come Friday morning as I watch all of the freaks fight the early morning traffic to catch the great deals on black Friday you will find me in my cozy little den, at my computer desk, in my pajamas with a cup of hot black coffee and a turkey sandwich on rye bread with extra mayo and black pepper!!
@cathyvelliquette3799Ай бұрын
I totally agree with you in a call to me. A turkey sandwich is so much better than the turkey on the day of Thanksgiving. It is one of my favorite things after Thanksgiving is over.!!!

For holidays, I think most of us want what we grew up with - the same dressing style, the same sides, the same desserts. We may pick up a different recipe or two as the years pass but for the most part it’s about family and memories. ❤
