B J if you believe in the teaching authority of the Church, you have to believe that the Church is infallible on declaring saints.

@@jackr1689 no they are not infallible. JP2 is muslim sympathizer and an enemy of Christ. Aside from his atrocities to God and the Church it takes a pope to declare sainthood. There has not been a pope since about 1960 A,D.

@@roexvt630 Actually I thought the same about 1-2 years back, because it looks so modern on the outside... But after studying more, on the inside it's more Catholic than ever before... I WILL SITE ONE OR TWO EXAMPLES - Contraception - Vatican 2(Pope Paul VI ) announced "Humanae Vitae" which said artificial birth control is "intrinsically wrong."... Before Vatican 2 all Catholics where doing artificial birth control.......ANOTHER ONE - Giving more importance to Mary. Officially giving her the title "Mother of the Church" by Pope Paul VI.....and many more.. hope it helps... God Bless : )

From all evil, Jesus, deliver us If you’re telling me that the Church after Vatican ll is more Catholic than ever, then we are far apart in our assessment of the Church. Pope Paul Vl did significant damage to the Church especially with regards to the Rite of Mass. He promulgated a new Rite with the Novus Ordo Mass in 1969, which is a striking departure from the Tridentine Rite codified by Pope St Pius V in 1570. The Mass of St Pius the V is still the Roman Rite of the Catholic Church, the Rite of Paul Vl is a new Rite which was concocted to be more in line with the Protestant form of worship. The Church has been in significant decline since the Papacy of Paul Vl with modernism spread throughout the Church. The Pope’s who succeeded Paul Vl have continued the devastation up to the current Pope. John Paul ll gatherings at Assisi were sacrilegious, blasphemous and scandalous, we witnessed more of the same with the recent Amazon Synod. So I ask how can we be more Catholic than ever?

@Traditional Catholic There was no teaching from the Church before Vatican II, whether it was wrong or right...But during Vatican II, it was made clear that it was "intrinsically wrong."... I hope it helps.. God Bless : )

@@roexvt630 Original Mass was in Greek, then modernized to Latin and then to the current rite so that whole world can participate the Mass in united way... See the times of 60's, people are leaving the church.... If not for the that change, we won't have 90% of the Catholics today... Trust in the Church which is the Body of Christ.. Gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Mat 16:17 ....God Bless : )
