Rom14v5 "Everyone should be sure about their beliefs in their own mind". Carlton I love your teachings. I've been free from religion. It happened in prison when all the churches representing themselves in prison were busy tearin me & others apart. They make a person feel so quilty. I love God by loving his creation. That means anyone irrespective of what they believe. Jesus said this. To love our neighbour. Thats it. Your teachings are so in line with love and peace. Religion can't offer this with their mandates & doctrines. Its very sad and confusing when so many people are going the broad way. Trinities, hell fire, salvation, baptism x3 or x1. All these hellbent denominations claim to be inspired by what they call the holy spirit - another concept that is widely misunderstood, and yet they all point into different directions! What the hell...

In my wildest dreams, I never thought I would have to say this to you, of all people Carlton, because I thought your life was built on the rock of Christ Jesus and him crucified and nothing could move you away from sound doctrine, but here we have a perfect example 2 Timothy4:3-4. For the time will comewhen they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and she'll be turned into Fables. Carlton, Leave yourself out of the equation, cut the rope, so to speak, and put yourself in the care of the savior Jesus Christ and him crucified. And be done with all other doctrines, simply because nothing else matters. There is no other way to be happy in Jesus than to trust and obey his word. Place your faith (Exclusively)> in the finished work of the Cross of Christ Jesus, Faith in nothing less than the finished work of Christ Jesus. That gives the Holy Spirit legal right to come into us and do what we could not do for ourselves. Even if it means physical death to the body, trust in nothing less than Christ and him crucified. That's What John meant when he said; no one comes to the father except through me. It's not about us, or anyone's agenda in this world. It's about him the son of the living God, Christ Jesus and the blood of his cross. The answer for which you seek, is found in the cross. Still can't figure out why you preaching from a bible that you say is marred and riddled with human error! And still can't understand why you are stuck on an "angry God." As Christians when we talk about salvation, it is not about an "angry God" but an angry devil that wants to deceive and carry as many to the abyss that he can. The fact that God allows you to continue on in apostasy and wrongfully accuse Him without striking you dead is proof positive that He is kind, loving, and long suffering not willing that any should perish, but that all would come unto repentance and eternal life. Just a thought from an old friend.

"It is a fearful thing to be in the hands of an angry God." -Hebrews 10:31 "The Lord is a jealous and avenging God; the Lord is avenging and wrathful; the Lord takes vengeance on his adversaries and keeps wrath for his enemies." -Nahum 1:2 These verses, among others, clearly show that salvation is about an angry God who must punish people for their sins. If God weren't angry with people, he wouldn't send them to hell in the first place. You're no less of an apostate than Carlton is. You are compromising the integrity of Scripture to dance around the ethical questions it inevitably brings up. And I'm pretty sure the Bible warns against that rather emphatically... You say the fact that God has not yet struck Carlton dead in his apostasy is a testament to God's love and mercy. For starters, that's not a display of tremendous love and mercy, but *basic freaking decency*. I don't strike people dead who don't share my beliefs. Does that make me deserving of worship? Furthermore, you conveniently left out that God has had *many* apostates killed in the Bible, and quite brutally, might I add. Why didn't God give them the same chance to repent? I thought God was no respecter of persons. As for why Carlton preaches from the Bible... he does it because while it has its flaws, it also has its truths. Why do people read fiction? Not because it's true, but so they can enjoy it and learn something from it.
