Would I get either of these in the foot wells in a car? or would it fit in a small car trunk? I've been considering a mobility scooter for longer distance travel as I have very swollen legs from top to bottom and a lot of my carers vehicles are small family saloons or hatchbacks. My joints in my knees and ankles are also very painful when on my feet for prolonged distance walking as well as Neuropathy in my feet and ankles which gets increasingly more agonisingly painful the longer I'm on my feet. Its really a no-win situation.

The seat does not store on the scooter. The smaller seat you can order does store on the scooter. I have had one of these for almost four years now. I ride it most every day through the neighborhood. I bought this for light weight and fast! There is an option in program that you can change the speed to high and it goes up to 9-10 MPH. Not advisable for seniors with balance problems as this is a three wheeler and can turn over. I love the speed and power also to go up inclines. I had to replace the battery after three years. The speed ranges are not gears they are how much power is going to the motor.

I dont care for those folding jobs. but i love my pride that disassembles into 5 pieces. its heaviest part is 26 pounds. Pride has forgotten that everyone no longer lives in the suburbs and lightness is essential to dealing with stairs. plus everyone isnt 300 pounds. i am thinking about the glion that's why I'm watching this. it seems light but your microphone on this video has it low so i will rewatch on a TV.

There's an even lighter folding scooter than the Snap n Go, it's the Travelscoot. Frame without the seat and battery is only 23 lbs and rear hub motor.

The Pride Version weighs 60 lbs and the snap n go weighs 33 lbs when the seat comes off. The seat weighs 15 lbs

I get 4-5 miles on my battery on a flattish surface & weigh 14 stone, so 15 miles must be down hill with a 6 stone driver.

@@allstarmedical Hi, I have 2, both go about 4.5 miles, they are within a year of use, it is a snapngo scooter. I have built my own battery which is approx 14.5 ah & it correlates in mileage with the 6.6 ah batteries originally supplied, IE the range of the 14.5ah is about 11.5 miles.
