I was just on here last month! What a fantastic cruise it was! My first ever cruise and I enjoyed every single minute of it. I too talked with a crew member who mentioned the renovations scheduled for January-April. They'll be taking an 11-day cruise to Spain I believe he said to get renovated. I'd actually be willing to sail on it again once it's completed.

Despite being old and having no refurbishment, Allure was still voted #1 by passengers.
