Sohvi - 'So Enjoyable' and 'I'm done with the boat life' - best lines so far and followed by - Juho - ' yea if it's free then I'll do it' - classic yachtie talk... Well done team, enjoy the winter..

hehe, Sohvi does come up with the one liners...! "free" there actually meant "vacant", although it was free as well (as in they did not charge us in the end)

It's tough being seasick and plus an unfamiliar port, poorly marked, pitch black, and sleep deprived. A lot going on there in a such a short passage. You guys and gals are tough. Good work.

My forfathers sailed from Faroe Islands to Iceland on the way from Norway. Note they did in a open boats, both Viking longboat "Langskip" and logistic ("Knörr). Mostly the "Knörr" was used. Greetings from Iceland

Well done. Sohvi: If you never want to be sea sick again, buy and take Stugeron 15 mg tablets. Take 2 the night before departure and then 1 every 8 hours of your trip. They are the offshore sailor's best friend. The can be purchases at pharmacies in Britain or Commonwealth (or former Commonwealth) countries. Perhaps you can find them on the internet. Many off shore racers use them. And there are no side affects, unlike the patch or Dramamine.

Glad that you had a safe sail to Iceland, but sorry that Sohvi suffered seasickness. I know from personal experience that seasickness is no fun. Now I take Meclizine before sailing to prevent seasickness if it looks a little rough out there. Take care and have a safe winter in Iceland.

Well done guys! While serving in the British Navy we were used as test dummies for a seasickness drug called Stugeron (in UK). It works extremely well. My sea sick wife used them when we sailed to Antarctica and I was amazed to see her eating and drinking during a rough crossing of the Drakes Passage. The drug freezes the fluid in the ear "tubes" which stops the brain from getting mixed sensations. (Eyes see no movement when down below but ears sense the motion). I think they sell a version of the drug as a small patch you apply under your ear too. Looking forward to the next video.

Hei Juho, we bumped into you in Torshavn at Etika in August, the Sushi restaurant out of all places, when you left and we entered. We were in stopover to IS from DE on M/S Norröna with our VW van and my 9yr old son recognized you immediately. "Ist das nicht der alte Segler auf KZbin, der mit den wilden Haaren?" - "Yes, he must have been the arktischer Segler with verrücktem Hair", I said and so we went into Etika to immediately get rejected as we had no reservation, the hotdogs up the street were not bad at the end :-).
