As a long term black widdow user and someone who regularly advises people to go for them for bang for buck value I do agree the paste is abit iffy but I've never know anyone have issues with the clamps. You really dont need to go mad tightening them up because the link pipe to can fit is usually pretty damn snug anyway just think of the clamp as an extra seal rather than a mount and you shohldnt have any issues, I bought my system a couple of years ago and I guess they could have changed hardware suppliers

I have just installed a full system on my ybr and the sealant seems to be working perfectly whether they changed it I don’t knoe

No doubt the shorter ones are the loudest but I prefer the look of the longer silencers on my bike. they suit your bike perfectly though. Looks a cracking bike👍🏻 I like how sensible you ride. I’m like you in built up areas but not on open roads lol.

I've got a blackwidow exhaust on my ER6, great system but had the exact same issue as you with the clamp snapping. But for the price and quality of the can itself, that can be forgiven I think

Yeah, I'd rather have this exhaust even if i have to spend an extra £5 to make it perfect. Still cheaper than most other places and great quality.

Thanks for the video, now I know what to expect from Black Widow. I'll just get some aftermarket sealant and clamps and that should do the trick. FZR600R and I'm going for the full system.

I installed my black widow exhaust on my bike a few days ago and I didn’t have any problems installing it so I think they’ve fixed the problems since this video is over 2 years old.

Did you remap your ecu bud? My bike is still getting used to the exhuast.. ive got a aprilia rs125 gpreplica and been told the ecu cant be remapped

I didn't bother with a remap as it was going to cost a few hundred pounds. The only noticeable difference was a slight loss of power in he mid range.

The exhaust was brilliant, never had any issues and always sounded fantastic. Right up until the bike caught fire and got destroyed a year and a half ago. But that had nothing to do with the exhaust.

just got one for my rs4 125 and apart from getting used to first gear bogging down I like it but 100% needed the baffle oh and I rode it for 2 weeks with no LAMDPA sensor as it snapped removing it from the old exhaust

Which type of baffle did you choose?

The exhaust came with a baffle installed. There was no choice.

I bought one for my 09 cbr1000rr fireblade, I sent it back for a refund after just 70 miles of a test ride, I have found a china supplier of what looks like the very same welding on the link pipe, it looks the same but a lot cheaper, the BW pipe on my bike didn't sound that good at all, loud yea but not the kind of loud I was after my link pipe and full carbon can was 234 and they refunded without question so good customer service
