I was born and raised in Vermont I’m now 50 but been living in Illinois now for about 10 years but I go back every year to see family. I miss the mountains and fall time there 😊

I love seeing my home area through your eyes...saw you going thru the Notch. Did you know that this year (2023) the Stowe Rotary had a unique fundraiser? They ran a pool on when the first semi would get stuck in the Notch. To my surprise it took until June! As of now (mid August) I think there have been 3 trucks stuck up there, despite all the signs and warnings of fines. I hope this Fall you have a wonderful season of catching the foliage.

People dont understand that nature like this can do a lot for ones mental health. I watched a bio pic on Adam West of 60s Batman. He fell into depression and alcohol in the 70s when it was tough for him to get acting gigs. A friend of his told him to move from the LA to the country side He moved to Idaho and started hiking and horseback riding and he stopped drinking and sobered up.
