What a lovely laidback video! The cookie making took me back to a time in my childhood when my Mom would bake all kinds of Christmas cookies and us kids would be around the kitchen table decorating them. Those were good times! Thanks Ally for the memories ❤️

Gorgeous wreath ! I really love that. Trying to do it too myself with what I have on hand, pine, holy, pine cones, velvet ribbons… I am always astonished by the fact that most Americans do not recycle their pumpkins but rather trash them; I always took them back home, cut , peel them, and cut in small cubes that I froze in bags. Pumpkin soup is one of my favorite winter food and it drives me nuts to see how many are trashed every year ! Did you try a good orange-pumpkin soup ? You should try next time and feel the satisfaction. Happy Holidays to both of you, always a delight to watch your videos Ally !

Ally, my fist house we found out the linoleum in the kitchen and main hallway had asbestos. We had to pay for a company to remove it. I installed underlayment but the removal left us with no money for flooring. There was no laminate flooring then so I sanded the underlayment and we bought runners and lived like that for over a year before we had saved for a flooring company. Those were very good days😊

lol we bought a star and it did the same thing one year! A friend of mine suggested sticking chopsticks in it. We tried to stick a few branches to get it to hold.

Oh my gosh, my late husband and I used to make roping and wreaths to sell to banks and businesses in Leominster, Fitchburg, Shirley, and other surrounding areas. He did most of the tipping of the balsam trees along with laurel. It was hard work, but the end result was always amazing. Sometimes, we'd make trips to VT for supplies when the cliffs were covered in blue ice. I miss those days. It's nostalgic to see you doing this ❤.
