IMO, blast beats over used. There are some great rhythms here and are not complimented by the drum lines.

The only thing impressive is the drummer. Most of these bands are just imitating 80's style thrash. There's nothing original or Earth shattering. The bands from the early days who are still putting out new thrash albums are leaps and bounds above all these new copy cat bands. Testament, Kreator, Overkill, Lamb of God,(Groove and Thrash) just to name a few are still putting out some truly great thrash metal albums.

Well we had to wait 30 years for a proper thrash revival, no need to change perfection. The album here isn't that great, but the revival is highly appreciated and there are a lot of good new bands too. Kreator is halfway melodeath and I don't even consider them anymore
