In mixed stages yes, but against any of Sakis targets she is better because of her recharge (assuming talented)

4:32 Not only you require Dark Cateyes to level her to level 60 but the NP price is not worth it, she needs 50 extra NP to upgrade her ATK buff for only 20%, but we all know Ponos hate her. Edit: honestly they could actually gave her Mini Surge which is the same thing but more expensive which would hurted more.

Ponos took more than 5 years to properly buff Aphrodite and they kinda blew it. Kuu and Anubis show that they know how to, but it seems that they just hate Aphrodite for some reason

Buddy they ALWAYS hated Aphrodite, from the TF to now, all the changes gave her basically nothing

Aphrodite is already a good unit, the improvement is good but there are better options than her to spend your dark cat eyes such as Kuu, Anubis, Dioramos. These are the units that really need a redemption which is what make the dark cateyes worth. By the time you got her ultra talents you will be in end game which you probably have better options than her in terms of sniper.

There are two phonos, and 3 Kaslis around, not much rooms for her to grow in competition, and 2 sakis

I think they realized that Aphrodite was falling off in the sniper meta, so these changes are appropriate to make her a top tier sniper again. This increase in damage and decrease tba, she now has a rather dramatic increase in dps. Not to mention that now with the double talent slot, you can potentially make her damage against aliens even more ridiculous than it already was if you're willing to grind for it. Aphrodite as a stat based unit also benefits the most from ultra talents due to it's lvl 60 barrier for entry. Overall, I do like these changes, but lvl 60 and a lot of np is quite pricy for the only pay off be to have her compete with other top tier snipers rather than dominate the meta like she used to.

As you said in the video… Saki is far rarer to obtain then Aphrodite… Meaning Aphrodite is more available to people. Not to mention that no one spins on epic or uberfest unless they have heaps of cat food to burn. And let’s not forget there’s units with wave blocker… The behemoth slaying Uber doesn’t have wave or surge immunity yet is one of the very best generalist Ubers in the game. Aphrodite is a specialist. They melt aliens. Not to mention that investing into saki means needing to invest XP into them as well. Which means more time and energy spent. For minimal difference… Edit: TF of Aphrodite grants extra 20 range.

@@Tem07 Saki is from the fest banners… Meaning for each potential Uber. There’s a larger pool to pull from. Meaning trying to get saki is a huge risk. Aphrodite can be obtained with far better odds since there’s a dedicated banner for her.

@@ninja6245-real Sure, Almighties has some OP ubers but its clear you didn't do any research. Needing to use XP on a unit is no big deal, XP is everywhere. Aphrodite has the same range in all 3 of her forms.
