Congrats on the new baby. :-) As for the trees, I hated those trees when I was a teen. My father had 20 acres of them, and an old massy. Went to school many a day looking like I had been in a fight. You have a great looking crop there. Hope not too many of the pollinators got into your good almonds.

Congrats on your new baby! 👶 I like your Alaska tee-shirt - that's where I grew up. I'm in Bakersfield now, wanting to plant a couple almond trees in my backyard. Thanks for the great videos! God bless you and your family and farm.

Great video man! And congrats on the baby! This harvest was an awesome one! Everyone seemed on time shaking em down besides the little bump in cool weather! We should get in touch I work for a dealer in central California I specialize in orchard equipment(flory, coe, Weldcraft etc.)It’s nice seeing a local farmer posting how this process works not a lot people know how almonds are harvested! I have to say this years harvest has been great!

Congratulations on the new baby. I found out about your channel from a video you did with Welker Farms earlier this year I think. I like your channel. Thank you for sharing because I did not know how this was done. Are the almonds basically in a shell inside of a shell?

On a more serious vane, what is the age of your orchard. I grew up in Sanger and my grandfather had a very small orchard. We harvested with long poles and canvas. This was many years ago.

I'm surprised you need a shaker machine as here there are a lot of women who threaten to shake your nuts until they fall off. It's confusing as we are a livestock farm.

Wanted to ask if you would be interested taking pollination into your own hands, saving on overhead and make extra money by offering pollination to your local farmers???? If interested feel free to contact me.
