There HAD to be a generation of future Scientific Geniuses and/or Scholars here honestly who (while watching that Interview of sorts back in the day here that) HAD to know what the hell Flint was talking about,doing and how'd he got-to there entirely here, honestly; Even in the context of if the Sparkswood Gang had actually somehow came across some actual Thinkquanauts whom survived nearby-Luckily enough NOT to become Cheesespider food like their idiot co-workers here respectfully speaking here,in the context of a Headcanon I have regarding this matter here, obviously- WHOM were supposed to Clean/Rebuild and re-establish the community back to a habitual State and the others that were sent BECAUSE of the missing/Dying and/or Dead Thinkquanauts because of the FLDSMDFR search here, and had invited them back to their respective camp after Chester's initial defeat in the second movie proper respectfully here (honestly) that CLEARLY wanted to know what his Machine even WAS, technically... (Basically,long story short: Flint probably was surprised at the amount of Thinkquanaut Surviours in-tow that wanted to know what exactly was the FLDSMDFR supposedly and it's Hydrogenetic Mutation-based properties/any of his inventions that were confiscated by Earl back in High school-The Surviours took the High school as refuge here and must've found them by chance in the back of some random HS science classroom,basically,in this sense-while his Dad and Officer Earl was/were practically teaching them-in shifts-about Swallow Falls' history here,and Flint was happy to oblige about their respective questions here; Basically the other Thinkquanauts THAT got practically saddled with the Search/Clean-up and Rebuild job last-minute here probably _only knew him from his Vesting Ceremony SNAFU_ and nothing else, probably...So Flint *_had a lot of explaining to do about all this,honestly.._* I've Headcanoned/Suggested that the more university/college kid-Intern Thinkquanauts and the ones whom were probably doing the Swallow Falls' job as a final Job before leaving entirely for different pastures/They were loaned out by OTHER Labs associated with LiveCorp's other Company Branches/Subsidiaries and Scientific institutions respectfully here honestly, did clean up the Island,and later decided to move to Swallow Falls Permanently IN-ORDER to help out Flint,Sam and his loved ones open Sparkswood Labs later on honestly here,in my opinion here..) Maybe if they initially had a few scenes they probably had cut for Time respectfully here-They could've had the opportunity to show the more curious folk whom were probably watching the Town's major SardineLand-Turned-Food Rain based broadcasts respectfully here (even in places that PROBABLY didn't have the Weather News Network reporting it, but a mention of Sam probably had mentioned to Flint that she was talking with another News/Weather-anchor from another News Network's Branch/Subsidiary and/or from one of the WNN's sibling/partnering news weather-station broadcasters-Such as if she was chatting with The WNN's Canadian sister Branch, for instance-on the off-hand and Flint was merely surprised that the Machine and it's Food-Weather are getting coverage in other places,for instance,l honestly... That,and I KNOW that some people were shipping the Perky,yet genius Weather intern AND the Meek backyard tinkerer online on social media and/or otherwise here,honestly (I mean-The Scene with Sam on report for the Ice cream snowday,with Flint practically about to chuck a Mint-Chocolate Chip Snowball onto her before stopping himself doing because she was On Air-Live, probably nicknamed the "Scientific ice-Cream snowball Slugger" online by a very few curious and peculiar People here obviously, was _DEFINITELY primed for the _*_whole-"Yeah,these two are a Cute/adorable little pair; We're going to ship the Shit outta these two like FedEx or die TRYING.."-Crowd here,honestly for example.._* )

Hell-I can imagine it right now here,honestly; Tim Lockwood (Dad) returns home from a mid-morning fishing excursion one afternoon as he notices that Flint is coming back in from the backyard with his laptop,checks on how he's doing and exchanges pleastries with him as Flint makes coffee and lunch for the both of them,wondering (albeit a tad concerned about it) if his Son was doing anything related to inventing that day while he was out-to which Flint replies that "Not much",although it "was related to it" as he had some time to kill after sprucing up the House that morning, essentially him saying that he decided that his little Skipper was gonna/had to record some "Audio Captain's Diaries" (His way of saying/referring to his Dad that he needed to record some Audio files for something of his,to which Dad wasn't against the idea-If Skipper needed total silence for him to focus on when working on something,he wasn't gonna argue with that..) while Lab-Partner Steve was sleeping and also since he probably found one of his old journals with some of the scientific stuff he did in high school while cleaning his old bedroom at some point (probably while vacuuming, let's say.) that he probably needed to archive before he forgot/he'll forget at some point later,no biggie-Dad would be fair and content with that as Flint gives him his coffee and whatnot,honestly..Later that night he probably had to both code and edit the "Cool machine voice" and later Audio-archive the High school/Teen! Flint's old little scientific research study into his files before heading to bed with Steve of all things,honestly...

About the BS-USB here,in my opinion here-honestly honestly-The fact THAT the FLDSMDFR machine could be PRACTICALLY and easily recoded with such a little USB thumbdrive with a possible copy of a completely new programming system onto it is literally SURPRISING and also shocking to Me literally BECAUSE of the fact that-and have personally Headcanoned here, surprisingly here- SKNEONE on the Thinkquanauts' Search/Clean-up operation team HAD to essentially literally FIND the DAMN/POOR thing, practically copied it's AI/OS programming systems (Something that FLINT LOCKWOOD HIMSELF practically had taken potential years to program and Code the damn thing here, probably off-and-on everyday off-screen sometime pre-Cloudy 1's events respectfully here,honestly) onto it,BS'd their respective way into saying that they didn't find it-but found something similar to it otherwise here, apparently-to Chester V back at Headquarters before pretty much recoding/reprogramming the Machinery's systems to essentially LiveCorp's whims WHILE THEY LITERALLY WATCHED their respective Co-workers become Cheesespider food BEFORE eventually sending it back to HQ before dying alongside their fellow Thinkquanauts here afterwards-Bonus points here in the case of the aforementioned Thinkquanaut worker whom did so might've been a low-level Thinkquanaut worker whom probably got friendly with Flint at some point during his time/duration at LiveCorp BEFORE eventually tually getting sent to Swallow Falls to Search for his Machine itself,under the guise of the SUPPOSED clean up operation there,honestly...
