This was awesome, Olly. I first discovered you because of your opening sequence, so it was great to hear about all of these books. I think that the Guy N. Smith book will never get out of my head. What a cover!

Thank you for satisfying my curiosity about the intro titles. Had to pause and make a note of Ahern’s Survivslist series. Surprisingly the first book is still available to purchase new, if I can’t find a used copy. Reminds me of the concept for the Prime series Fallout, starring the fantastic Walton Goggins. Just finished one of Jeff Lindsay’s Dexter books last night. Tonight is looking like a Hap and Leonard kind of evening. Wish I had your barber. Your hair has been fabulous lately. 😉 Hope you have time off work over the holidays to pursue your reading! 😺✌️

I love this. I can't count how many times I've paused the opening to get their titles to read.

Oh I remember Moon Dance was a fun read. Been dying to know what the title for your horror one was. Thanks for taking the time to make this!

Loved this buddy! I miss the stacks waiting to collapse on you. 😂 Moon Dance is a fave, lots of wolves marking territory, but a fun sprawling book.

Thanks for the showcase of books in the credits. I imagine they were easier to find the first time around.

Michael Slade one of my favourite set of books but I advise to read them in order as he isn’t afraid to kill off main characters! Shane Stevens - By Reason of Insanity and The Anvil Chorus are absolutely a must read as well. I found out about him as well from The Dark Half by Mr King and read Dead City first but think he only did six books altogether.

I still haven’t read The Anvil Chorus, need to track down a copy!

I've been wanting to read Dead City for a while now but it's really hard to get a copy that isn't stupidly overpriced

You probably won't remember this, but I remember how you did a buddy read of 'The Master' with Juan at 'Plagued by Visions'. I remember because it was I who initially brought that book to Juan's attention. It was the first book I influenced another Booktuber to pick up and read. I have it and I read it decades ago when I was in high school.

I had no idea Alexis Machine existed outside 'The Dark Half'. I really must stop skipping introductions and prefaces in my eagerness to dive into books. To be fair, I was about 14 when I read that one. Intrigued.

Moondance is one i'm going to pick up. Do you know one where the werewolf is the narrator?

Can you use your enormous influence in the publishing world (you've already done it once) to get Dead City re-published please? It's impossible to find, at a reasonable price. That box (The Master) sounds gross 🤭 I haven't read any of those, but fingers crossed on Dead City 🤞
