Almost an Interview with Jim Jiminee - hardly any Che - 20.08.1988

Everything is set to go, camera team is ready to roll, so is the band, but no interviewer in sight. This is what happened when I was late for an interview, intended for the „off beat" show on Tele5 which I hosted.
I got stuck somewhere and so Jim Jiminee decided to have a swig of Asti Spumante and then to do the interview on their own. Later, after the gig they played in Munich, we had a drink - or two. Nice guys!
Jim Jiminee was a indie pop band from England which had formed in late 1986. Their debut EP „Do It On Thursday“ came out in 1987 on Cat & Mouse Records, in Germany on Efa-Records.
Lindsay Jamieson, Kevin Jamieson, Nick Hannan, Pete Dyes & Delphi Newman, the guys from Jim Jiminee, officially split in 1989 - a year after this interview which was recorded in August 1988 in Munich. All of them successfully went on working own other projects
Re-releases of Jim Jiminee are available in fine record shops - and on the internet. All in all, Jim Jiminee released one LP and three EPs.
