Real Talk, we got rattlesnakes, copperhead and cottonmouths in Arkansas. The best advice I can give is to move slowly and precisely through ambush areas...since snakes are ambush predators. Stay safe, and have a great season!

One good thing here, no diamond backs to speak of. Timber rattlers, copper heads, and a few cotton mouths along the waterways. But no diamond backs.

Good luck. I would catch it and move it...far away. Maybe to a city ( not really) where they all love wildlife ( as long as it is far away from them and their kids).

Yes Sir, we have the snakes, most bites around here are around the house. we get the usual , copperheads, timber rattlers, ground rattlers and sometimes a cottonmouth. Dogs like yours and mine are quick and agile but bites do happen. Yes, the Lord was watching out for you

Mr. Robert, I'm proud to announce that I got my first recurve bow. It's a fredbear grizzly 55 lb at 28 in and I'm pulling 26. Won't be hunting with it this year but hopefully next year I will have enough experience with it to go take an animal I turn 31 this year so I figured better late than never

That's a fine bow, back in the day, it was the working man's hunting bow. Still as awesome as ever, you will love it. They shoot great and feel great. Good luck with it.

Just killed a nice doe with my long bow in Ky had a 6pt come in just getting ready to shoot him and a doe spooked him so she won't do that again!! Have a great and safe season! Just sent Jason an email about the tradtracker with the HD white string works good probably wouldn't have found the doe with out it.

We moved from upstate New York, to a neighborhood in Central Texas, five years ago. I’m 70 years old and I never seen a single rattlesnake, in the 65 years I lived in New York, but have killed 5, on our measly .33 acres, in this neighborhood. Two big ones and three juveniles. Gotta keep alert.

Mr Roberts living in Central Florida all my life I learned my lesson about poisonous snakes when I was about 12 years old I was bow fishing and I stepped on a 2 1/2 ft cottonmouth with my right foot God was with me that day because the snake struck at my left foot three or four times before I realized what I was standing on I probably could have set a new world record at the Olympics for how far I am I jumped I'm 69 now I do not go in the woods without my snake boots about 25 years ago me and my son had came home from work it was this time of year he grabbed up his fishing rod I said where you going I'm going to the river and walk the banks I said not without your snake boots he said dad they're so damn heavy Wareham or don't go fishing 3 hours later when he returned home he said to me he said Dad thank God I had my boots on kottonmouth hit me right in the calf it's one of those snake boots every time it goes to the woods fishing or hunting
