Adele wrote this because she was so emotionally drained & tired of being bitter in her songs "Rolling in the Deep" & "Rumor Has It" after she was broken up with. He was so important to her & she felt it was time to reflect those feelings as well. It was cathartic for her to say "Im going to be okay." 😢🥰 "Chasing Pavements" is my all time favorite song by Adele. Wow! I ❤ it!

She’s a Londoner. We grow up with EVERY single influence. My mother listened to Motown, Shalamar, Kool and the Gang, Bob Marley, etc. my dad was listening to the Who, Rolling Stones, Bryan Ferry, etc. I had friends from all cultural backgrounds, so I had lots of different influences. I should imagine it’s the same for Adele. If you live in London.... you understand what I’m trying to say. 👍🏽🌹

I couldn't click fast enough. Knowing what a big heart you have, I knew you would get what her soul was saying. A great choice for Adele, and one of my favourites from her. Sometimes love means bearing a burden for someone, to let them go ahead without you. Adele also does some videos from inside her flat (apartment) with nothing but a piano and no fancy equipment. Just her and her voice. Moving beyond words.

Another great reaction. You're so right to add it to your playlist - just put it on repeat. For the next ones, I'd go for All I ask and/or When We Were Young - but really pretty much everything she's done is glorious. As someone said in one of the other comments, maybe on the last video - every single song on the album 21 is amazing. And it's incredible to think that those album titles are the age she was at the time of writing/release... just 19 years old for the first one, and still only 25 for the third in the trilogy!
