Dude, you are killing it. Those lights in the speaker, so nice! You keep adding stuff and making it seem all to easy, over here hiding your genius. Great work.

Thanks! It does seem easy when it's all combined into a video like this. Took me 2 years to build it though 😅

I definitely underestimated the time it takes to wire so many things. Luckily there's a really good guide for making vpins that I could work off of

I might touch on the software in the final video, but probably not too in depth. The regular leds are controlled by the Pinscape software, thr addressables are ran with Arnoz Tiny Tools if I'm not mistaken

That's crazy! This video series is a pure joy to watch and I can't imagine the amount of work that was put into building and filming all of this! I can't wait for the final part :)

Thank you for all the praise! Comments like yours are very valuable to me. It did take a lot of work. 2 years of building and I've now been editing on and off for about a year. The final part will hopefully be done fairly soon

Hey - great work! You dont have to use Teensy Board and Octoboard for adressable LED?
@overtinker.projects5 ай бұрын
No, you can also use a D1 mini with Arnoz' software. They're a lot cheaper

Er zijn flatpack kits die je kan bestellen en dan zelf in elkaar kan steken om een cabinet te maken. Misschien een interessante piste

Perhaps a extra suggestion : replace the yellow cards with 2 small displays, so you can see the rules per game on the left side and show the payment rate or freeplay modus on the right side !
@overtinker.projects7 ай бұрын
I have thought about this since I completed the build. It would be really nice, and I have one of those 7" screens laying around. But I feel like I can just look up the rules for the game instead if I really want to learn them

Incredible. I just spent the afternoon watching all 7 videos and can’t wait for the next one! If it’s not too rude to ask, about how much did this cost to build?
@overtinker.projects6 ай бұрын
Thanks, that's so nice to hear. I'm still working on the final one, I hope to get it done soon. I'll give a lot more info in that video like the cost with a spreadsheet with all the parts, but I'll already spoil the fact that it cost me about €2000 in total

Do the lights distract from the action on the playfield?

I would say they add more immersion to the gameplay. It's definitely a plus

@@overtinker.projects Good to know. Depending on the led, I can be a bit sensitive to them , and prefer incandescent in uses like this, especially with blue / white. Thank you for the series of vids, Im trying to plan out a build.
@overtinker.projects3 ай бұрын
@bthatguy1181 well if you're sensitive to lights you can install less bright flashers, no undercab lighting, things like that. You're free to build whatever suits you best. That's the beauty of the vpin hobby
