Almost got flushed in the Toilet Bowl rapids on the Arkansas River

The Browns Canyon in Colorado is home to some of the most popular rapids on the Arkansas River. With rain and wind setting in on one of the most popular sections of the river, we nearly got caught on some rocks in the middle of the toilet bowl rapids. Our fearless guide Jay kept us in the boat, but not before we all got soaked in the 45 degree waters. No fancy cuts, no music, just nearly avoiding catastrophe in the canyon
