@@andrewcooks1 I saw footage from the early test beta where a LVL 100 Druid with max tornado took one down. The tornado tick damage was constant, and with the boss being such a big target it was hitting like 10-15 times per second for each tornado. Whether that will be nerfed who's to know!

The dmg counters with the goofy ass font, the flickering of the monster when hit, the outlines, the colors. Looks childish AF. Doesnt matter how dark the world is if the screen is full of manga animations

Game is whack. That was the most boring 15 minute boss fight I've ever watched. We will never get those 15 minutes of our life back. New blizzard's gameplay scheme: Things take a long time to do for no rewards and want you to spend money instead, because time is money. Will be a completely different game 2 years from now. Blizzard thinks they can do good development on their own, but they can't, sadly. Old blizzard is dead. New Blizzard is flopfest. You won't even be able to log on. Gotta say, that didnt look very fun at all lol. Wailing on the same enemy for nearly 15 minutes dodging same handful of attack? Hard pass for me... And was that 4 or 5 legendary items dropped at the end? doesn't seem promising if it was.

It definitely has a lot of MMO qualities I won't argue that and I love D2 I grew up playing it. I think the MMO stuff is fine it doesn't bother me but I am getting sick of the "it's not Diablo 2" thing, you're right it's not Diablo 2, this may seem scary and intimidating but it's a new game with new mechanics, if you want to play D2 that's fine, no one is taking it away from you, it's not going anywhere.

No one here commenting has ever played Lost Ark. D4 is way more like it, than anything else in the Diablo franchise. Between the renown system, MMO like world with seeing other players out and about, gathering, and this boss fight; it is taking some serious pointers from that extremely popular game. I'm here for it, some serious potential.

When they first announced that it will be open world ARPG, Lost Ark first came to mind. Lost Ark is good, the only thing that threw me off is their end game, the grind, several currencies. Also the Kpop design is a minus as well. A Diablo game with similar mechanics to Lost Ark would be great.

Endgame with the right builds, yeah. You're judging the first act of this game by comparing it to endgame metas in a 20+ year old game... Then there are Ubers at p8. "Not long boss fight?". Started an offline Summoner Druid in D2R last week, don't have Beast or Enigma yet, and it took me nearly 8 minutes to kill Nightmare Mephisto.

At 5:38 you only have 2/5 health pots, when you pass along those two health pots on the ground, they just vanish, but you don't get extra health pots your number stays 2/5. Is that a bug, or do health pots on the ground vanish after a certain time?

I had enough people taking on the boss close up, that i could stand still most times. Max range with hydra/firewall does alot of dmg.

Would have liked to see the poison not fully kill so you don’t just sit going “oops I got poisoned, now I die” and for there to be SOME sort of penalty for dying rather than just spawning nearby. Other than that the boss fight looks like a nice mechanic, dclone would be the closest d2 resemblance and he’s basically a big hit sponge (like all the complainers seem to say about this fight)

Hes not immune to fire. He's immune to certain ailments like burning. Its not D2 immunities.

The looks and interface of the game are more D3 and WoW like, where's the Diablo feel? They got it so right with D2 Resurrected, why not continue along that path? Love your vids man! Why is so many people hating on this game? Before most of them even try it. I don’t understand it. I’ve played 3 characters from the beta and loved it. The world boss is a big epic fight so of course it will take awhile. Also your first fight without knowing all of the me bosses moves you will die. The first time this thing spawned my group failed it plus so many people were dying. My second time I died once. Imagine doing this on hardcore though. Very challenging

It is not like D3, Legendaries and set items are not the highest rarity here and they are not so powerful too, uniques and Mythic items are the highest thing and they said that you will maybe see 1 or 2 Mythic item drops in a whole season if you are lucky.

The devs have stated that loot drops are enhanced during beta to enrich testing by getting items into players hands more quickly, so calm down. You can complain about rare loot drops on release.

So how does this fit into the lore exactly? It's takes 1 hero to take down the 3 prime evils but dozens for this world boss. So why isn't this guy one of the big baddies?

Lorewise the prime evils were never defeated by 1 hero. D1 : 3 heros+ many lesser "lesser" ppl (lidless eye rogues, common soldiers..). D2: 5 heroes (each class) and many other helping (rogues, towngusrds...etc: each meecenary ) . D3 same thing but i gotta admit they went a bit dbz like (cringe) with the whole nephalem crap . Back to somewhat basics.. your hero is just 1 more , elite and deadly but NOT goku /superman like levels of power

Funny because D2R is the game for old rabbits while D4 is definately trying to impress all the childish modern audiences as we will soon find out even more once the monetization hits. This is such a tired straw man for people who have real criticism of the game. I haven't seen a single person say any of this, and I don't believe even hardcore D2 fans are expecting a copy of it. Comparisons will be made, obviously, and why shouldn't they be? This is supposed to be a sequel to the franchise, and returning to some of the roots was part of their marketing.

Game is good enough for a buy I liked the beta at least so far level 24 rogue, I’ll be keeping my pre order people are just weird if you don’t like the game why are you commenting or watching videos about it go outside or take a nap

i was so bored that entire fight to find out that legendary items are more common than common/magic items, very dissapointed in blizzard. I will not be sending them my money.. back to diablo 1 :P

Drops are enhanced for the beta to let people quickly get them and test them. If you want to loot starve, that will come in release and you can enjoy getting stepped on.
