I have to admit, I was a bit critical of y’all after the first couple of videos, but y’all are the real deal. Watching him live is a whole other experience. Never in my life would I have imagined that a freestyle rapper would be able to tour with off the top rhymes, much less tour internationally. I’ve seen H Mack live three times in the States, and am going to be seeing him live in Hamburg, Berlin and Amsterdam in the next weeks. And it’s a different experience every single time. Don’t ever hesitate to watch him live if you have the opportunity to do so

As far as Harry's "Songs" are concerned, I gotta put up **"Amen Brother: Harry Mack Freestyles Over Classic Drum Breaks"**, where he not only drops 3 amazing tracks, he's also playing the drums (he's an accomplished Jazz drummer - its what he studied in college), AND he gives a history lesson, which is nice right now for the 50 years of Hip Hop; he breaks it all down. Also, if y'all really want to know what Harry's "superpower" is, and why he's able to rap like he does with his crazy cadences and switches, check out the clip **"Freestyle Rap Meets Jazz Drumming | Harry Mack"**

Love the reaction, thoughts, and commentary. I also love when his bars remind you of bars you’ve written. It’s always dope to hear that! I’m always listening to you guys while driving home or cleaning the house or something. Would love to get some links to your music so I can peep what you’ve done! Couple things: You were talking about wanting to hear some more structure and focused targeted subject matter. I’d recommend his second EP “SOULilloquoes” for that. It’s a three act structure I’m sure you’d appreciate. The last song is probably the closest we’ll see to Harry using a pen for the foreseeable future. He’s stated that it’s extremely hard for him to write, it’s just not the way his brain works. If you do want to see his pen game. He released an album in 2019 called “Contents Under Pressure”. I’m a huge H Mack fan, but it’s nothing special IMO. But might be worth checking out, if that’s what ya wanna see! If you’re looking for old old Harry Mack, instead of the one that Tyler pulled up, I’d recommend reacting to “HarryMack Crazy Shit” it’s a thirteen year old video when Harry was in college, that shows you the progress he’s made. Or ‘Harry Mack - “Bounce House” Car Freestyle’. This is the first video Harry did that went viral. He did it for his buddy that was trying to get the word out about the beat, and asked Harry to rap over it in the car. Love from Utah!

HMack has one of the best internal rhythm/cadence/metronomes of anybody to do it. He was a session jazz drummer for a long time and got a degree in jazz drumming from a university. And, I believe he's been playing drums since before he was 10 years old.... I dont think anyone will be as good as him with the flow switches and always being in the pocket without at least 10-15 years of being a studious drummer. He knows very well how to chop a bar/syllables and fit it in any way he wants within a beat.

Harry mack is a drummer, so when his hands are in the air bopping, he's keeping time. Keeping the metronome, and he's probably got the waves of the beat in front of him so he can time things like flow switches and cadence changes. love the reaction.

Yeeeeep. I was here for ALL of this 50+ minute H Mack reaction. And I'll be here for the next ones. I enjoy your H Mack reactions because i know, that REAL knows REAL. And it shows. So much I could write, but I'll leave it there, I appreciate y'all. (On H Mack - H Mack is a legit, classically trained Jazz Drummer. And between that, along with his life long love of hip hop music and now 22 or so years of practicing his freestyling art.. NONSTOP, like Kobe Bryant or MJ 23 would practice B-Ball.. it has really placed him in a position to be able to make a brand new lane for monetizing FREESTYLE music. And THAT, is just straigt up, UNRELENTING, UNWAVERING GRIND. And its THAT level of work and dedication that I really respect. And wow, it definitely has worked out well for him and us. Because to date, we have not seen anybody FREESTYLE on this level. And now we are seeing the youth are taking it in, enjoying it, and inevitably, his hard work will result in new, high-level talent coming up over the next many years. Now THATS making a difference in the hip hop culture over a long time span). Thanks again both of you!

I snatched this up on vinyl for my collection, and in all honesty only played it once. That one time was for two reasons: First, to have Harry on physical bumping out my speakers with that oldschool dusted, jazz tinged boom bap. And second, to record the sound and get that extra space on the spectrum. Particularly the lower end between the bass and the treble that vinyl naturally brings, but most modern day digital producers are not even aware of. Sure, it doesn't even make any difference to the average listener, but drop it with decent headphones on and play a purely digital version back to back with a take off vinyl, and I think most people would hear the difference. And it wasn't even a top tier pressing, to be honest. It was very decent though. Edit: I lied. I played it a second time on Christmas Eve, and followed it up with "Hat and Beard", a dope as shit Eric Dolphy jam with one of the coolest jazz bassline setups ever. Maybe I should have followed it up with some John Coltrane. That would have been the first to mind, surely. But no, I went with my gut and it turned out perfectly.

So the answer to your question about you wanting to hear him make an actual song.. He does have a album called *Content under pressure* . With that being said its abit old. Its like 4 years old. There are some songs on there with actual music videos. *Napoleon Hill* and *Next Gear* . My fav on the album is *They told me* (But has no music video) Now he only freestyles. He has said that using a pen kinda messed up the whole process and his flow and him thinking doesn't really go that well. Its easier for him to freestyle then write. Its better for him to just flow and not "think" and just freestyle. Thats why he haven't made another written album and the last 2 ep's he made was freestyle..
