Only cho'gath mains seem to realise that axiom arcanist rune is NOT taken into account when displaying the execute threshold. Axiom arcanist granting +14% true damage makes it so that you can get the kill slightly above the displayed execute threshold.

hell yeah i was about to comment this as well. i was testing axiom arcanist with baus's build and seeing the execute threshold is not displaying correctly with the damage amp of both riftmaker and axiom arcanist

Axiom arc is a god sent on Cho because your actual damage would always be higher than the threshold so there won't be any case where they healed ~50 health exactly as you ult and lived

I might be wrong, but chogath didnt lose all stacks on death, but half of the stacks, rounded up. His e used to be a toggle that could be on permanently as well.

I’m a Cho main, this is why I love having Zilean in the game with me. I’ve been loving this movespeed build recently, it’s so fun. Also you can use your e as an auto reset for HoB and last hitting easier

Hi, otp cho here :)! I've yet to try this build because right now if I'm using HOB I always go Heartsteel into Fimblewinter and it's been giving me the best results yet. Another build that I find extremely good is the comet + resolve setup with RoA into Riftmaker, very good in match ups where you can't reach the opponent easily

Hey Alois, love seeing cho'gath videos. I came back to league this season and decided to climb with cho'gath urgot, etc. Can you do a cho video on champions like Aatrox, Wukong, Renekton, ESPECIALLY Kled (in the 1th in the 100th game he is picked). I've looked at stats and see that cho's winrate against him is suspiciously high, but just get absolutely analed in lane, and mid game team fights. Again ty for the great content

Alois said he could never cook up a build like this, but I think it's not so hard if you know the champion. Cho is an old champion so he has no mobility but lots of damage added over the years to compensate. You can remove some of his weakness with movement speed (cosmic drive used to be a common build for this reason). I think Nemesis was playing shurelya veigar as well for the same reason. It's the same reason you can build defensive when ahead. You have the damage, and even better than being tanky is being untouchable.

Brother I promise you, in that nasus match up if you went E start, when he was Q start. And you 3 auto with the hail of blades, he is practically 1 shot lvl 1. If you can catch him out of position you just walk him down. Works for mundo too.

i can't understand. is this setup really stronger than the classic full tank cho'gath with grasp and hearthsteel? his skills scale with hp, as does hearthsteel itself. with a classic build you end up with 10k+ hp at most, doing a lot of damage anyway. if the strength of this build is movement speed, couldn't you still opt for dead's man plate and symbiotic even on the tank build?

The AP from shurelyas actually amplifies cho's basic abilities damage by a lot during early and midgame. Get a lead and lich bane as well and you actually just oneshot people while having 550 movement speed and being pretty tanky as well. i think in some games if your team lacks a proper tank you should go heartsteel instead
