New camera angles are great value add but imo keep them to moments like the hilarious Ave Maria kill at 11:42. These new inserts are novel and fun but will always come at the sacrifice of readability of what’s happening, since literally every person who has ever played LoL has essentially only ever seen the game from one angle. Since your content leans educational, losing readability is a bigger deal than with most. If you stick more to using those cutaways in judicious and less-teachable moments, you’ve got a really great boost to your already strong and unique value proposition as a channel. Love the content, keep it up and keep it coming boss.

Yo, note for editor. Alternate camera angles are great besides when the team is team fighting because no health bars to see who is who and hp levels. They were great when “nothing” was happening. Keep it up I think you can get 1 mill alois.

Hey, Alois! I've been playing Illaoi for a long time but I am a low elo player because I don't play ranked that much. A few fun things you might like to know about Illaoi that is a little obscure that I saw you asked about. When you kill the spirit, the enemy starts spawning tentacles near them. THIS specific spawning allows tentacles to be spawned closer to each other than your passive allows, which means if you kill the spirit, it'll be easier to kill the spirit next time since you'll be in a field of more densely packed tentacles. You aren't "Unstoppable" during the Illaoi ult animation. You're displacement immune, which means you can still get stunned, you can still get rooted, and you can still get slowed. A lot of people think the ult makes you unstoppable because Illaoi has long cast times, and she's always casting something while cc'ed, so since you buffer the cc with your cast times, it's like you're not being cced at all. Illaoi is the only person who can get around 45% armor pen with cleaver. The way her E works, she simply spawns an enemy with copy cat stats of whoever she landed it on the instance she landed it. Let's say there's a Malphite with 300 armor, and you start hitting him before you cast E and get full 30% shred. That means Malphite has 200 armor. When you hit E, that vessel will have 200 armor and NOT have the Cleaver shred on it, so you can cleave the vessel separately, and add an additional 30%, reducing the armor of the vessel down to 140. That means a Malphite with 300 armor is equivalent to having 140 armor for you, and that's pretty crazy. Her E is true damage. This is very deceptive as it's tagged as physical, but it is true damage. A percentage of the damage that you do to the spirit is echoed as damage that cannot be mitigated in any way to the main champion. If I do 1000 damage to the spirit, and I echo 80% damage, it doesn't matter how much armor you have, you will take 800 damage. This is functionally true damage without the true damage tag. That's why she's so frustrating to play against. Your hardest counters are Gwen, Mordekaiser, and Yorick. Your answer to all of them is to play so aggressively and forcefully, that they don't get a chance to breathe, because as you said, Illaoi is very strong early levels with her W. Another thing to consider is going Shojin, because it is a little too strong on Illaoi. All damage you do to the spirit has a percentage increase and the damage you echo is also percentage increased. People have done the math, and Shojin outperforms in raw DPS (unless you cleave before pressing E), until the enemy has 300 armor. But you can build both and bust some heads anyway. I like going heavy AD. Cleaver, Shojin, Steraks, Death's Dance, Maw. Godspeed, and may the kraken smile upon you!

One more thing about that "ghost damage" that you are struggling with is that there's a 0.5s cooldown. When you get hit by a tentacle, you take 50% less damage from a tentacle if you get hit by another in 0.5s. This drops down to a total of taking 75% less damage from tentacles, however, this is a separate thing you track per person and the vessel counts as a separate person. So if you are able to cycle targets, hit the vessel, hit the champ, between 0.5s, you get maximum dps. That's why it feels weird sometimes that your tentacles are doing more damage, because you're seeing them smack the vessel, and take less damage, and also because if you are able to get multiple tentacles to slam in the same instance, they take full damage from the initial slam and then take reduced damage for 0.5 after that initial slam. Basically, two tentacles slamming in the same exact frame (which happens when your spirit is broken), do full damage, and that's why Morde got demolished.

7:11 If you have the E debuff on an enemy, pretty sure you can R then W a minion and the next tentacle the enemy spawns will immediately do a fast double-slam even if they're very far away. I've seen clips of it and I believe that's how it works. Practically undodgeable without a dash.

Mate he stat-checks illaoi 9/10 times. You literally just don't ult her first and she can't do anything. She's very easy to pull with E cause her abilities root her in place. You heal her poke back with W or you just all in her and use your shield to stay healthy. It's not impossible to beat him but it's extremely difficult.

Even at lvl 2 he died because he missed the q if he goes for an auto-w he would win and stay alive despite the mord ignite. Illaoi can trade and win against mord if u land ur E if u keep missing and getting hit by isolated q of course you re going to lose doesn t matter who s against you. try taking e second.... super oppressive. You get 2 first, they are easily grabbed, they zone themself by evading the damage, the damage you deal is greater if they stick around for a moment and you get double healing pretty much if they fight. But yeah if they are killable focus them when you have it up, if they're not and not right on top of you focus it. Also try getting sheen first when you're ahead. It's disgusting.
