For whatever reason and even though it has less than nothing to do with Russia, the imagery that comes to mind when it comes to the finale to symphony 1 is the rodeo, with bulls and horses regularly knocking and jostling the riders thereof to and frow during a rodeo show, some of the music allows you to imagine a rider getting tossed all over the place by the animals. Yes, this movement always reminds me of the rodeo.
