Dot the Ghost Hunter ventures into Town once again, braving its dangers in search of a Serial Killer, a Slasher. How will she fare? Will she survive? Will she learn how to roll better dice? Will Toto, her pet Brick actually do anything in the game??
"Alone Against Fear" is a solo game by Andrea Sfiligoi (Ganesha Games), very similar to the well known "Four Against Darkness" also by Ganesha Games.

I honestly can't remember hahahaha. It was quite some time ago. I may have forgotten, I may have looked at the escape chance and decided against it. Dot may have used psionics to convince me that she wanted to fight hahaha

There is no option to abort a mission to fully heal. Your only option is to die and generate a new character

It shouldn't be the only option. It's a solo game, bend the rules if they are written that way, as long as you can justify and not cheat the game. In AAF I would always abort a mission if there is a way to do so, if the death of the character is the only other option.

@@IthaquasBane but isn't exactly that "cheating" the game then? The Missions are balanced in a certain way. One aspect of mastering a campaign is to learn when to fight and when to escape, when to explore further and when to return to a savehouse etc.

@@Enroth186 The game does not specifically say that you cannot quit the mission and try again. Its not exactly going to be an easy return after all, and you won't get the rewards if you choose life over death and run!! Its a game 😁. If you want to play so that your character has no exit and dies, no worries!! hahaha I wish you good luck and all the good dice rolls you need!! I choose to play as if I were in the character's shoes, and get out if I need to. As long as you, the player, has fun then its all good!! 😉
