I'd definitely watch it. But as far if I would suggest you do it, no. I've seen quite a few seasons and it's rough. I would suggest watching as many seasons as you can before seriously considering. Most of the contestants bow out from either getting sick, getting injured or can't handle it mentally. Its brutal.

I agree with your comment, don’t get me wrong Marty, I think you have a lot of life skills and talents and tenacity… more than most. But I think it’s a serious consideration and it could be brutal. Also, I would probably watch any subject matter you want to put out there.

Never hurts to try it out. The only negative would be is if it’s freezing cold or beyond hot might be a no factor. However most of us would watch it.

Two of my friends were on that show, first show of the first season, two brothers, survival experts, ex marines. They lasted one day. They take you out blind, you have no idea where you are going, there is no way to prepare for where you are going. My friends got injured. If you get sick or injured they take you out. You also have to sign non disclosure agreements. They will interview you. Why not, try for it. If you win then you get some pocket money.

I love your cats man! I've got 4 now and they can be a hand full. I'd definitely watch some camping and out in the woods videos. I like that stuff too and I think those "survival" skills are important especially with the state the world is in right now. Never know when we might have to fall back on some primitive skills to survive.

I love the show Alone,, and think that if u think you could survive in the wilderness for at least 2 months, you might have a chance to win a million dollars.. I would say go for it.

Marty I think you could definitely do it but I wouldn’t do it. That ovens guy I watch him too. He is a professional and his weight loss after thirty days is crazy, and he is like an expert. So I would not do it. Also I would love to watch some camping videos or even videos in the backyard bushcraft would be cool. I love longhouse videos.

I'm a pretty tough guy ( at least that's what my friends say) and have survived a lot of stuff in the wild but being on that show may not be for me. You only have to be tougher and out last the last person plus it depends on where they send you weather you find food or not. Give it a try.

Do you realistically believe you could weather a possible 100 days in a place like Mongolia? I think the ideal person for this challenge would have to be extremely versed in living in those conditions with a huge knowledge of gaming, setting traps as well as be in top physical condition. If you can say yes to all those.. then hey why not.

Have you watched a few seasons of Alone? The 2 biggest issues I have seen is the lonely and the food situation. Some of the best hunters and fisherman had to quit because there was just nothing there. I think you would be ok with the being alone apart. You seemed to be fairly entertained making videos and that's what they do. It helps tremendously to have knowledge of flora and fauna. Even the losers on that show have mad skills. I'm not saying you don't but you probably could use some brushing up. Ha! How's that for diplomacy? Educate yourself on all episodes and then if you want to, do it to win.

It would be tough but an experience you would never forget. Even if you didn’t make it to the end it might possibly lead to income from other sources. And you would have bragging rights about being on the show even if you only lasted one day. Lol

I would watch it to but..... all the peeps on that show are labeled as survival/outdoor specialists and some only last 2 or 3 days.... I see that it's a great malnutrition weight loss program

Yea and I see several of those so called " Specialists " leave after a few days because they miss family and are just piss poor survival specialists...I dont have any family for the most part.

Perhaps you should just google the show and read some of the history. It is not good. Stick to house repairs.
