FYI: That stainless "pot" of yours look's and sounds like a double wall ice bucket, for ice cubes. Double wall cups & pots can (not saying it will) explode when exposed to heat such as a campfire. It also takes longer to heat food or boil water than using a single wall pot. Just something to look into if you're into camping.

All the time in the forest, the dog had no food?

My dog eats only once a day, so it's enough to feed her in the morning before the hike, and the next morning I have one portion of food with me. Therefore, spending 24 hours in the forest is not a problem for her. She also gets to taste some of my leftover food:)
