You picked a wonderful place to visit on the last day. Love Song Wat to bits, the decor, art, coffee especially and the overall vibe of the neighborhood is just something everyone needs to experience in person. Rong Klan Nuea was lucky to run into the one at Emsphere, always quite packed but like you said definitely recommended. Sadly not long ago I went through the same experience and had to leave to return home. My last day was around Baan Kudichin, very historical and a place that you'd really enjoy - has that very Talad Noi feel being next to the river. Strangely enough I am homesick, missing thailand very much with hopes that one day i'll be able to return.

I agree! I’d recommend Song Wat to anyone who’s heading to Bangkok. Thanks for the recommendation on Baan Kudichin, I’ve saved it to my list of places to go:) you seem to really love Bangkok too, hope you’ll get to go back some time soon!

Hi Nyen. Welcome to the Big Mango! Quite a surprise to hear about your plan, as a Singaporean living in a modernized city state, has the intent to make TH your home base. Living alone, to me, is much easier in Singapore than TH. Wonder why if you don’t mind sharing. Can’t be alone living in BKK for long. This is not the place people come to the country for that kind of lone living. Friendship and highly social is it. 😊

Hi Pakdee! Thanks for the warm welcome:) Living alone in Singapore is indeed much easier due to the culture, safety and standard of living, but I also find Bangkok to be very modernized with great transportation and infrastructure (minus the heavy traffic) that’s perfect for someone living alone. Of course I also love getting to know new people too, and as you rightly pointed out Thailand is a good place for that:)
