Give yourself time! I can’t remember ever being comfortable in my own skin… when I was at my lowest I was the mist uncomfortable (not to mention depressed) your mind is incredibly powerful…

Same, at my lowest weight I was depressed and felt uncomfortable. Now I gained weight and still feel uncomfortable, but at least life in general got better:) I guess I’m just striving to be healthy and accept my body. I can still take care of my body even tho I don’t love it:) accepting it is a huge step for me tho:)

I agree with both of you. When I was at my lowest weight in 2022 during covid, I never felt as drained, exhausted, I’ll and just deep down into a depression. But it was also at this point I felt the worst. (As my mind tricked me into believing I was overweight). The mind is powerful, too powerful sometimes. But fighting against it and bringing our true selves back is the way to go.

I was born and raised in Rome but moved abroad last year to attend university in Amsterdam, NL. This video is so nostalgic tbh. I miss it so much but it makes me so happy to see you enjoy my home country this much and appreciate it in its fullness. I hope you have a wonderful rest of your trip in Italy! Also, props to you for acknowledging that it's okay for your body to change and this is when you have to keep going. Your journey has truly inspired me so much. Ahh your video's are so cute!! So relaxing. Reminds me of Emma Chamberlains vlogs. And you're doing so well with eating. I used to have anorexia as well and I just remember how amazing it was to be able to eat everything you want. Especially while traveling. But I also know how hard it is to accept physical changes. But trust me! It's so worth it.

Pesto isn't a Tuscany tipical pasta condiment.. Pesto is tipical from Liguria, it's not surprising it's called "Pesto alla Genovese" ... One of the main ingredient Is basil and the one cultivated in Liguria is an eccellence more than the others cultivated in other regions.. Tuscany tipical food Is "Fiorentina", "Fegatini", "Ribollita" and so on... in Florence there are lots osterie/trattorie but many has cheaper tourists menù, food good but not tipical! Anyway i'm glad to see you had a good time and ate good, i saw you like gelato, me too... 😊
