I get the self torture we promote in our relationship to beauty. I keep telling myself, "I was society beautiful last season, now I am my beautiful this season.". Confidence in this seasons beauty is attractive. I also remember that I can always dress up, but I try to only do it with the right intention. Otherwise, I find that I complain about missing the mark. 😊 receiving confirmation will validate your thoughts, so control the thoughts, not the feeling. You are beautiful ❤️

I loved when you were reflecting on how you like to be your most vulnerable self and voice the truest way you are feeling in the moment 🥹 I am someone who loves connecting with others but I often feel conflicted because I have both social anxiety and (recently diagnosed) ADHD, so the two are often at odds with each other. I feel like my ADHD and genuine love for people and connection guides my social interactions, but later on my social anxiety kicks in and I will feel SO anxious and second-guess something I said or did - it sucks 😔 I love when I find people that I truly feel safe with, but for some reason, I often feel like I am being judged and I honestly don’t know how much of that is real or projection. Growing up, this anxiety kept me from showing my true self due to the fear of being judged… or else I relied on drugs or alcohol to “care less” about being judged. I’ve definitely made huge strides in recent years (in terms of being authentic in the moment), but the second part (i.e., ruminating after the fact) is still tough and something I’m continually working through... Regardless, I really appreciate your spirit, kindness, and the love that you bring to the world - it helps me feel more confident in the kind of person that I want to show up as every day 🙏💖

i really got you when you had the insecurity chat, i have pcos and facial hair like a werewolf i've always plucked and tweezed which was my way of hiding but also harming my skin. recently my friend whom i met on insta btw loool she does sugar waxing and has urged me to stop tweeziing. this is a habit i;ve been addicted to for years and i've not tweezed in 2 months! i grew out my beard for 3 weeks!! and yes i had moments of weakness but as a mental thing i was proud i didnt fall. into the habit as future me will be super proud!
