@BanhammerNarc That's when I was refering to the official walkthrough / strategy guide (called novel in the original French). It was written at the first person (the author WAS Carnby) and was filled with sarcasm and little jokes. I included some of them in my comments since I loved them.

The segment starting with Grace Saunders from 6:05 to the end of this video was omitted in the floppy disk version. Didn't know about the existence of this part until I read a walkthrough mentioning it...

AitD1 happened in 1923. Aitd2 happened in Christmas 1924 (as stated in the intro). and AitD3 happened in 3rd June 1925 (again, stated in the intro).

I did used DOSBox. It worked great for recording too. Unfortunately, the recorder works strangely for other games and I'll have to get a copy of FRAPS to record anything else.

Correct me if I wrong, but I as far as I can recall this intermezzo with Grace at the maze was not in the original floppy version. I've finished it at least 15 times but I can't recall that little part. I suppose in the floppy version the story continued from the boat with Grace.

Emulation of this game, and the other two in the original trilogy, is not always easy on modern computers. DOSBox can only do so much- POLE7645 managed to get excellent framerates for this video (it may not be emulated here, but rather played on an older computer, but then I wonder how he ripped the video...). Well done, in any case, POLE7645. Thanks for the upload.

I barely use guns on regular bad guys if theres only 1-3 of them...if they extend they're arm out like the guys wit magnums you can just run up to them face to face and they'll just shoot past you and you can punch/kick/headbutt them to death, whatevers your bag. same with the tall guys with shotguns/thompsons.

When I played this game without dropping that grenade into the dining room, I had to face the two guys in coats. The guy in the blue coat is the kind you gotta watch out for. He has two guns. A long pistol and a short pistol. If he managed to get a shot or two at you from his short pistol, you're a dead man... (or that's how I experienced it)

YEs, it's a very effective way to learn abit of new languages but one must know some words from before or they will be complitely stuck.

I own both 4 and 5. I don't know about 4 Carnby, but 5 Carnby is confirmed to be the same as 1-2-3 Carnby by the game's plot. If you want, I can spoil it for you how he lives so long =)

also you might want to be careful about the tommygun-toting bald guy in the dining room... if I remember correctly, this guy's tommy gun has a much higher firing rate than the others.
