Just a note to add it is a little different in the province but in Manila and maybe like Cebu they have laws for being shirtless as they are trying to break from practices in the past. Better explore the northern part of the Philippines 🇵🇭 especially luzon . Explore the heritage city of Vigan, Ilocos Sur, San Juan in La Union the surfing capital of the north. Baguio City in the Coldellieras is a mountainous city with very cool climate full of pine trees. The hanging coffins of Sagada, the world renowned Banaue Rice Terraces in Banaue , Ifugao and a lot more to explore and we have also beautiful beaches like the Saud beach in Ilocos Norte.

The Cagayan Valley region is not known to foreign tourist and lots of hidden gem! Cordillera region is also worth exploring if you like rice terraces and mountains. Chris you’re almost like a local using words like kuya and phrases like Kumusta ka and Amping. But we do not use the word Amping in Manila or Luzon. Also you should at least wear a shirt in visiting a church.
