Not only is it cringe, but the problem I have with it is that it's just for repetitive nonsense. Everyone's doing the same exact trend. Whether it's them doing a tiktok dance to the same same sound bit , Or it's some person in the corner of the screen reacting And pointing to another video, Or some sort of weird AI Voice over, Or clearly scripted skits made to look like a prank or reaction video. Or things that they call challenges but aren't really challenges, it's just something weird that they do for views. At least with vine, people had to be funny and creative with their videos. Since you only had 7 seconds. It was way more diversity of content there than with tiktok.
