Great idea! Your stretch results look equal to when you use heat. Fabulous!

This worked perfectly this morning. After the wash and go, I dried for little over 30 mins under a hooded dryer. I then clipped my hair with the clips for 30. Looks great and I love the fact that it's hanging in the right spots. Great idea

I will try this as well! The banding method sometimes stretches my wash and go too much. I find that mini-pineapples give me stretch at the roots but I’d like a little more stretch.

I use Takirah's banding method for short hair already. Love the video. 💕

Oh yea! I forgot she showed us this.... this came right on time!!!... will have to save the vid because I've been doing wash n gos lately to get better at them and the shrinkage is so real lol.. I'm not ready to use heat so Imma try this technique! Thanks for this vid!! ❤❤❤

😍Wow! I love it. That stretch looks so easy and simple to do, even I can do it!!😂 I've never tried a wash and go. I just got the hang of being able to recognize how to keep my hair hydrated where I'm not dealing with desert dry hair. A wash & go may be my next style I try. You explain and demonstrate clearly I'm hoping to follow your format to achieve something similar to your wash & go. 😂🤔Thank you for adding how you stretch your hair I asked, yesterday. Your hair is beautiful! I love it!❤️

This is a cool method and something I would try if I’m going out. I don’t stretch my hair due to working out 5-6 days a week. Leg day gives my hair more stretch than I bargained for haha

I will try this! My wash day for this week is Thursday.

Enjoyed the video, my hair is just too fine with medium density and it would over stretch my poor strands, now for my daughter I think it would work like a charm. Your humidity is better than ours because you goes have plenty of water surrounding you, we have the Gulf but not that close, anyways thanks for sharing as well as the originator video!

Yes I watched her video and after i tried it not on my whole hair but i twist a section then tried her method and it did work. Your result came out beautifully.

I used the UFD gel for the first time with the Miche leave in and I got no definition. I ended up slapping the Ampro on top so it wasn't a waste, and now my hair is super shrunken. I'm gonna try this right now. 😭

Great technique, I’ll be trying this before work tomorrow! I’ve been stretching my hair with the blow dryer and every once in a while with the bands but it’s uncomfortable to sleep in and that’s not a technique you can use if you’re trying to get out the door quickly.

Great idea. I use the banding method to stretch my hair and the ties get caught in every time.

Great video!!!...BEAUTIFUL results!!!...I usually stretch my hair by dividing my hair into 5 sections (2 -front, 1-middle and 2-back), twisting those sections and then banding them all together into a high bun...THANKS for SHARING!!!💜💜💜

I’ve been using this method since Takira’s first video, I used to finish it before I left the house. Now it’s the last thing I do before I leave the house for work, I have a 20 minute drive, then fluff before I get out the car.

Catching up on your vids and this one is going to be a definite try for me. My hair is not as long as yours but I'm going to give it a try. Your hair looks so fabulous with this stretch method.

To stretch my wng I use the tension method with the blow dryer. I used to use the banding method. The bands would get caught in my hair.

I'm definitely giving this a try 😆 I've been stretching my wash n go's with the revair (high heat, tension 2, 15-20 seconds) But I appreciate having a heatless option. Are you planning on trying the new cheers collection by the main choice? The gel-lato is absolutely amazing 😆 The whole line is bomb too though 💃🏿

Definitely will try this stretching method! The banding causes my hair to tangle also. I also LOVE LOVE LOVE UFD curl magic gel..... though it can dry a bit tacky. Do you find that you have more shrinkage using UFD curl magic gel, especially with high humidity? I’m in STL so it’s always humid in the summer 🙄
