I love this game, and I love that this clip ran long enough to cover the entire part of the story, not just the fight. I thought using a melee strategy to defeat Regalla was cool. The unfortunate part of both Horizon titles is that increasing the difficulty merely turns your enemies into bullet sponges. You can get crazy high DPS with your ranged weapons, especially on the machines, which unlike the humans, are much bigger targets with vulnerability points machines, but it requires you to be a bit better than my preferred play style of just mashing R1 and R2 ;) The hunter bow has pretty low DPS but is effective for resonator blast as demonstrated in this video. Blast sling, throwing spikes, or the shredder gauntlet probably would have ended the fight sooner. if you choose to kill Regalla, you get her bow (not the best bow in the game). I enjoyed having her in the final battle, and her dialogue (Wakanda Forever star Angela Bassett!!!) in the base after this scene, answering Aloy's quests, is hands down the best acting in the entire game.

I really enjoy playing this game. Yeah on harder difficulties, enemies turn into bullet sponges, hope they fix it on the next game, I do love using melee on combats, I hope to have it more variety for machine combat like a very different way of playstyle and build would be really cool, I do love the new melee they added here.

How do you do that charge move? The instructions to that has clearly gone over my head. Even though I competed all of melee pits, some of them I completed with frustration because I redid them until I accidentally got it right and then kept reading them because I could never figure out how I'd done them.

Its been a while since I've played it but i think its hold r2 then press circle I think, I may be completely wrong. I am currently playing FF16 so my memory about the controls for this is super iffy, sorry ^ ^

When you charge up the heavy it adds to the meter for the special weak point attack, just dodge once the heavy attack is easy and you'll be golden. Obviously be careful or you'll be hit coming out of the roll

The staging of the cutscenes in the sequel are weird. It’s like you’re watching more a theatre production, a stage show, am dram - not unlike the kind of staging you’d see in a 1960s/70s BBC TV drama. It looks strange and artificial, falling short of HZD’s far more impressive, cinematic approach
