Welcome Girlies! 💁🏼‍♀️
Welcome to our Alpaka Elements Travel Backpack Review!
**Not all Alpaka backpacks have the space cell foam padding on the shoulder straps, just their Elements backpack line.**
🔍 What's In Store
This review will show you the ins and outs of the Alpaka Elements Travel Backpack. From the price, to showing what fits inside, and even showing what the bag feels like when packed out. We got you covered on all the details of this epic pack!
✨About this Bag
Here are some of my favorite features...
- Light grey interior
- Thick padded hip belt
And here are the things I think could be improved...
- Tight main compartment
- A bit too many pockets
🤔 Not sure about this bag? Check out some of my favorite alternatives below
Alternative #1 → Aer Travel Pack 3
This pack has a similar style and feel to the Alpaka, but offers a bit more of a spacious main compartment feeling more like a 35L therefore can fit a bit more!

+1 for the interior of bright colors. Just replaced my small sling after 2 years because finding things was a pain since it was completely black on the inside.

They actually have this available in an olive green and a lovely blue colour now as well. Considering getting the blue one as i don't fancy black backpacks.

Another great review. While I think it says Alpaka is possibly not the one for me, it’s valuable to know that as well. I love waking up and knowing there will likely be a Nomad Nation review either Marissa or Aaron waiting to watch.

Hi, thanks for reviewing all these backpacks. I really enjoy your videos as they are very informative and fun 😊. I have the Fjallraven Raven 28 and I love the organization it provides, have you considered reviewing any of their products?

I totally agree with you on the packable space and the pockets. It’s not a winner. Do you plan to review the Evergoods 35L maybe compared to Aer 35 L? I really wanna see that comparison. Thx keep up the good work

Yeah just a bit tight for me, but still a good bag. And I will try and add that bag to my list :)

I have this bag. I have narrow shoulders and am only 5'1. For me, the straps are too wide and too wide apart, sadly. Otherwise I LOVE IT!

Yes i agree these straps are super wide, not the best for a small female body :/

Good info, Im trying to find a good carry on capable backpack like this for international travel that I can use for my entire trip for the most part so I don't have to carry a bunch of luggage and the hip belt I feel will be a must. I do agree with it has too many pockets, especially when they're all stacked right on top of each other, makes them almost useless as things get bulky quickly. Not a deal killer but the smaller main compartment is concerning.

For long term international travel I would recommend the Osprey Fairview or the Tortuga Travel Backpack. Both can be carry ons and can fit sooooo much inside!

I could use some help! I have been traveling with a TUMI Carson backpack but it's just not holding up to the load and I'm noticing it's showing signs of wear. Most of the bags I've seen NN review are made to have tons of gear or packing cubes in them and they're too big. Conversely, the small EDCs seem too small for traveling with EDC plus a little more, but not quite 35L of stuff. Any recommendations?!?

Have you tried Aer products? I feel like the Aer city pack pro or travel bag small might be a good size for you. Theyre very comfy and made with really great materials. Let me know what you think or if you need other suggestions!

Hi! I would love to see you review a Goruck G2 26L. I'm 5'2", and I'm having a hard time finding any women my size that have tried the G2 26L out. I'm considering it as a one bag travel, but not sure if the size is right for me or my travel needs. Would that be possible? Thank you. ❤

If this bag was actually 35L it would be much better. That front pocket barely has its own dimension for having so many pockets on it.

Agreed that is a con for me for this bag it feels a lot smaller unfortunately
