thank you so much for this recipe. my mom used to make it for me as it was my favourite thing to eat. and even when I moved to a different city she used to make it and pack it to send to me . now she is gone for three years and i was missing this so much since I never learnt this from her . now I can try making this . thank you so much for this help .

Nilanjan Das Chakladar did you cook it 1 hour 20 minutes in a pressure cooker? And it didn’t melt away or become extremely soft?

পেঁয়াজ বেরেশ্তার একটা আলাদা ফ্লেবার থাকে সেখানে ইলিশের গন্ধ হারিয়ে যাবে।

my mom use to say ...u can eat elish mach only steem 5 minute..............after cooking 2 hours do u test elish at all............. l know reason of this timing to melt fish bone...............still l love thick cut onion, oil , chilli- tarmaric powder n salt ------'patury' 10 minute's .......... done....
thumbs down for the recipe. 2 hours of cooking Hilsa actually makes the fish taste & flavourless as well.

Alpana Habib ঐ gentleman অনেক রাননায় ১ চামচ চিনি বলার সময় ১ কাপ চিনি বলেছে। কী যে confuse করে দিয়েছে, বলার মতো না। আপনি comment টি দেখলে please জানাবেন যে আপনাকে হুবহু ফলো করলে pressure cooker এ, ইলিশ গলে হালুয়া হয়ে যাবে কি? আমার শুধু ভয় করছে ১ ঘনটা ২০ মিনিট pressure Cooker এ তাও গললো না কেন? অথচ সাধারণ প্যান/ কড়াই দিয়ে রাঁধলে তো ১০ মিনিটের বেশী হয়ে গেলেই ইলিশ গলে যেতে চায়। করতে খুব সাধ হচছে। at least আমার বাচচারা দারুণ ভালবাসতো। কিনতু ভয়ও হচছে। If you see this please reply.
