I'm famous, I'm in your video at 39 minutes and 20 seconds and then 43 seconds sitting on the right hand side of the piste. Great video, I liked the resort, just wish the weather had been a bit better.

@@topsnowtravel I was in the blue jacket. We did a week there and then straight off to the three valleys and did another week there. Had a few white outs on the second week aswell.

yeah ... in the season it's minimum 3,415 a week for the stay so on the pricy side... They do serve amazing food ;)

That’s not too bad for what you’re getting 😊 Always best value to travel in January during low season (04 Jan - 08 Feb 2025). More available options, cheaper options and less crowded on slopes and restaurants 😁

Daria-I Nor most definitely NOT worth 5 stars. Are with the 4 star rating. Heading to Alpe d’Huez in March 2025! Can’t wait for 2 weeks of good snow!

Are you sure this is a 5 star hotel? It looks like a 2-star by North American standards

I do say if you listen in the video that I would classify these apartments as 4-star but let’s not push it with a non sense 2-star by “North American standards” 😂 Show me 1x 2-star from “North American standards” that looks as good? You have 107K + hotels in the US alone so I’m sure you will be able to provide one easily?

4 star at 6 star price. Looks so small and living area very cramped for 4 people.

Well the standard is below par indeed but let’s not push it with the price of 6 star . Staying in Palace rated property will be triple the price of the week for this apartment just for 1 night 😂

I find the Residence & Hotel Daria-I Nor pretty good value to be fair. Alpe d'Huez in general is actually quite cheap amongst the big ski resorts especially compared to the ones in Savoie & Haute Savoie
