Ngl, in terms of flair, against Crimson Abyss i'd say Miyabi takes the cake here. Even if Abyss'es leap does sounds very satisfying, Miyabi's general arsenal still felt better in feels, even if you put the rest of Abyss possible offer to the showcase. Crimson Weave however, diffs both. But then again, both Alpha and Miyabi are basically one of the few that i would admit as the "True Daughters of Vergil".

Alpha's leap sounds so satisfying, the quality difference between her leap and other attacks are pretty obvious, since her leap was only added around 3 years after her release in 2021, since the leap was actually just added back on June 14th of this year, they honestly made her almost perfectly, the devs(and players) absolutely love her and whenever she gets something new added for her their revenue just bumps up immediately.

Miyabi ( 2024 release ) vs Alpha Crimson abyss ( 2021-2020 release ). When Kuro had only 1 game ( Punishing gray raven ) with budget of 200,000 or even more lower back then. They put everything into alpha like character desing, animations, lore and gameplay, before the team split so they can make WUWA we know. Right now i'm just comparing both ages. Alpha as of today still has one of the best SFX we know (the ult can be changed a little XD ) and gameplay in PGR. If Kuro make Alpha crimson abyss from the bottom to the end in 2025 it will be like crimson weave or even better.

@@YourDailyOtter I just compared age's and nothing alse. Comparing ages is nothing bad in this type of situation. I did not badmouth both and i love both games. I just typed in the original comment how hard it was for Kuro to make such a character with limited budget in that time. IF you REALLY think that way like this "shitting on the other game bcus you had nothing better to do in life" you need to change the way you see things and your perspective, better to have multiple so you can have an answer after. In terms of particle Miyabi wons, but if it's about Animation details Alpha is way more detailed and flawless. That's is absolutely insane for a 4 year old character (almost 5 year old) and it's originally mobile game.

You gotta also keep in mind that alpha was 3-5 older. Kuro back then really put a lot of work with alpha, making a different core gameplay than previous character, with little budget and i give my respect to them. Cw vs miyabi wouldnt be fair at all for me.

One is hard to use while the other one is easy and fun if your a casual player in pgr like me you would not want to play as alpha crimson abyss its very hard and one screw up will fuck you up bad no shade though she looks great animations are good it's just her playstyle thats bad for me skill issue yes that's the point if its too hard nobody is willing to learn in miyabi's case she's easy to use and very broken no biases if someone is going to pick between the two there gonna pick miyabi cause it doesn't matter how good the character is if its not fun and straight out just difficult to use there not gonna get alot of attention imo miyabi is better

I just dont like embodiments of virgil where "sheating blade and all kind of effect" even with a story backed its so lazy writing. Even so i like miyabi which i nvr play zzz. I which hoyo put kore effect the motion same balance as the effect. Yknow what i mean, same ratio

If so, yeah when i tried her gameplay my excitement was lowered because, those effects didn't hit the feel for me at first but, after a bit it was actually ok, and yeah i agree i wish mihoyo would do that, where action has the same ratio as effects, Regardless though i find miyabi still cool, she is pretty too, her gameplay is smooth which is actually nice she is literally the reason i play ZZZ (and burnice ;))

i feel the saame and its one of the reason why i didnt pull Miyabi and won't get her. I know i will regret it, i just find it lame because i saw it so often. But i still like Miyabi though, i just won"t pull for her. Alpha though....i find her very cool and she plays well too. Imo, she's the only one between the two who can pretend to really take from Vergil but thats because PGR itself has more inspirations from DMC than ZZZ.

Alpha is nice but PGR is too old at this point. ZZZ looks much more refined and polished and higher quality, which should be natural given how much newer it is. Miyabi feels simply sublime, not very complicated or having much depth too it outside of swap-cancels and the likes but she just feels amazing to play.

@Personthatsit in terms of tec and the way they improve upon things, it sure does. Elden Ring feels better to play than all other Souls games before it, that is a sign of why its the freshest and newest Souls game. There always have to be some kind of improvement within the genre. Yes, some games release with less than games that came before but to me, those games are trash anyways. Always stay on top.
