​@@Wise937Tbh I use it on my 10.0 lineup (I prefer it to the MiG-23BN honestly) and it's very enjoyable. It's a very small target and you get a lot of light tanks with the gun alone. I've dodged/flared SAMs several times but it gets dangerous above 10.3... Being honest, if they gave this thing AIM-9Ls it would be more survivable than an A-10 against other planes

@@Epic_candle you can kill both the m60 and the t55 with the cannon. For the m60 its kind of a lucky shot into the cupola and the t54/55s can be killed on the lowest part of the hull if you fly low and 90 degrees from the side

I took out my Alpha Jet the other day with only the gun (only had enough points for the gun alone) and got about 6 kills with it before returning to base. That gun is AMAZING! Great video and well done!

Man... Whenever I play CAS, they have multiple SPAA that snipe me from 2-3k away while dodging... And if I manage to kill them they spawn fighters and gang up on me...

The trick is to mask your approach with terrain and if you have a ballistic computer you can use it to drop bombs from strange angles and long ranges SPAA tend not to move so once they start firing at you turn away and make space then when you come back around try not to fly directly at them try to either pitch up and lob your bomb from far away or drop it during a turn. Also when dodging try to change the direction your going every couple seconds (basically don’t keep turning in one direction) at 3km the SPAA rounds with have a travel time of 2.5-4.5 seconds and so you can actually react to where they are going and turn away from that spot

@@stefanknauer7180 that’s either lack of situational awareness, incorrect cas aircraft selection, or a poor understanding of good approach vectors, or a combination of all 3. if your struggling against fighters then play a cas aircraft with better missiles or maneuverability to win dogfights, and be more aware of where enemy aircraft and SPAA are, so you can either systematically hunt them down or keep terrain between you and them if your out of suitable munitions. I get 7-10 kills in CAS pretty regularly when I decide to spawn it, so it is possible to do. It just requires finesse. Personally I recommend watching the creator Hunter and trying to emulate what he does.

Both APHE shell variants for this gun are nasty asf. It feels like you are nuttin mini nukes under someones hood. Its the only reason why I would prefer specifically A jet over E jet. Tbh it makes me horny thinking about 90° dive attacks on t-55s roof in 9_2 ground sim. Having every turret flying all over after 0.3 second burst DAAAAAAAAYYYYMN
