How to detect an upper drive seal leak in an Alpha One gen 2 drive without the need to lift the boat or split the leg

Always install a new driveshaft bellows after this seal failure, as the gear oil will have contaminated the bellows with oil, and the oil can quickly rot the rubber bellows causing it to split.
