For context, it seems that the entire house has been cursed for a long time. The darkness can either kill or possess anyone in their way. The creatures seem to be part of the curse as well. From the looks of it, there are technically two outcomes. Either you succumb to the curse itself (by killing everyone) or purify it (by saving everyone from their potential deaths) before your Dad comes home.

What i remember about this particular one, is that a young man with his his bride (?) stayed in a creeapy house with a hole, that is a some sort of a 4th-dimentional pocket space, or smth. Also there were a creepy maid, that is actually a succubus. And also his uncle tried to kill him. It could be another relative, but with Lovecraft, it's 90% murderous uncles.

@@somelolicon293 the dad most likely killed the kid in what i'm assuming is his study (wouldn't a basement be in one of the side rooms as opposed to his room only? also explains the desk and chair). i'm unsure if the father is an alcoholic or not or if maybe he drank and the house then took advantage of his lower will to make him kill toby, but it seems to be implied with the bottle in the study and the bottle on top of his closet. we also know there's alcohol in the house as the mother drinks a bottle of wine after making the sandwiches and passes out in the kitchen as a result.

I love the indie horror games that have that feel of a RPGMaker/WolfRPG Maker horror game. They always have some weird abstract things with the environments and characters so that every time you think nothing is out of the usual or you're out of a bad situation, you find out things are not as they seem.

*Here's my theory:* the little girl is mentally ill and had violent urges, and after losing control one day, she killed her entire family, except her father. After realizing what she had done, she instantly felt guilt, sorrow, and regret... As for the father, he ended up coming home to a horrific scene that was once his family, now nothing more than a bloodbath, except for his daughter that was apparently still alive. Upon witnessing a traumatizing scene, he blamed his daughter for the death of his wife, and his other daughter. Without a second thought, he killed his own daughter without remorse, and in cold-blood. So, he then proceeded to take his own life because he couldn't live with himself anymore, especially after what he had just done, and witnessed. He felt like he had nothing left in this world, and he wanted nothing more than a release... Now as for the the little girl, she is currently in a state of limbo, where her soul is being judged. As for the judgement, the little girl is being forced to relive the moment she killed her mother, and sister, in an attempt to allow her to make things right. And as for the father, he is doomed to an eternity in hell, and is being forced to relive the moment he willingly killed his own daughter... *Evidence to back up my theory:* The little girl waking up in her bed everytime she gets brutally murdered can be seen as her unable to die because she is already dead. The little girl fighting to survive the monstrosities trying to kill her, can be seen as her trying to redeem herself, and get out of limbo. The father repeatedly coming home with a knife in his hands can be seen as the moment right before he killed her, and him being stuck in a perpetual state of eternal torment. The mystery man at the end of each alternate ending can be seen as the devil, trying to win her soul, by attempting to convince the little girl it will never end unless she does what he wants. The monster in the toilet can be seen as a demon trying to help the devil, by convincing the girl the only way out is more blood. The other shape-shifting monsters can be seen as manifestations of the little girl's guilt, sorrow, and regret. As for the father breaking down at the official ending of the game, this can be seen as him finally being set free from his torment, and possibly forgiven for his sins... Edit: Lol this took me almost 2 hours and a half to create this crazy ass theory! I put a lot of thought, and effort into it...

@@FakeLLama23 Yes, actually in fact, I am! Also, I am currently working on developing a game which I created, and I keep writing more and more ideas down in my transcript. So far I have wrote everything in cursive, and it has spanned at least 20-30 pages long. Also, whilst I'm doing this, I'm simultaneously working on a novel at the same time based on my video game transcript! Now, unfortunately I can't show you any details because I don't want someone stealing my ideas, so for right now, I am keeping it a secret. However, I estimate that it might take me bout 4-5 years from now, until it is complete. But perhaps, it may one day become a success videogame and novel. Who knows? Also, I'm not doing it 24/7, just as a hobby... Edit: made a crap ton of changes too my paragraph, sorry for the inconvenience!

this piece of music sounds very similar to one of the tracks in minecraft. i mean obviously it sounds just like minecraft music cuz its the same genre and types of instruments. but besides that, i mean it has the same notes as one of the songs in MC i swear.

What a fantastic ambiance this game has. Love it. So uncanny, in a really good way. Especially love how the giant rat at first just mutilates you (or you do it), but you can just easily befriend it with a sandwich
