I do like the game mechanics. Saving drives you crazy, perhaps because using a computer to save/load time travel is a bit much for the mind, and some clues are only noticeable once you're crazy. I could even see something like the Shadows aren't visible if you're sane, beyond other signs, and being hurt by them makes you crazy enough to be able to see them- so straddling a certain level of insanity is needed for survival, but adds anxiety and thus fear as random events could inevitably drive you off the deep end. The mystery is pretty good. The opening could be simply the last thing you remember before whatever phenomena scrambled your memories, and explains why everything is new to the player- and perhaps the hints we get from the walls and hallucinations are simply those disconnected memories- as the head security officer, our protag should know all the codes. The warning about the terminals is interesting due to how important the information you get is, and some entity contacting you through it (and later showing up on screen, I think?)- perhaps it's a cognitohazard, learning or reading about it makes you more susceptible, and thus like many a good horror, the thing you rely upon to survive is also adding to your downfall.

Played the demo after watching the first ten minutes of the vid. I skipped grabbing the gun and went straight to the room at 16:42. I had the door closed so when I was done reading the terminal I saw her just KNEELING there, WAITING, and she SLOWLY stood up. "SHIT no gun but got bullets". My sequence breaking broke the save system because she was still there and had to trap her in the hallway leading to the elevator. Played with 1HP till I found the health pickups later on. Also ended up duping the Boosters somehow. Good Game.

The end where the hero ended up in a strange room. I wonder if this is by design or because the hero has “gone crazy.” Low percentage of sanity was shown in numerical value. But it would be more logical if reason was equal to zero.

Great pixel art. The animation was cool. Especially the reloading animation and shuffling zombies. It seems you have the Firearms Mas-Pert skill. Accuracy decreased by 60%.

Yeah I really love the way the zombies shamble towards you with creepy jerky motions! You can take sedatives to calm the character's nerves (which I assume might help with the aiming too), but I really liked all the weird glitchy blood and effects that occur when he gets stressed out so didn't want to calm him down! :)

Wow! Your gameplay is pretty cool! It remeber me the old school games and is very nostalgic! The game interfaces, graphic styles and interactions is very nice! Sound effect is good too. I just feel like it is missing a soundtrack to improve the atmosphere. Even with the background sounds is very silent and i think doesn't show all game potential. I'm excited for the game release, i will be wating for it!

I played this game blind after seeing the first 2 minutes of this video and I gotta say I'm pretty mixed. It's all good until combat is involved, and enemies just spawning on my ass (ESPECIALLY egregious is the one that spawns after using the card on the checkpoint terminal) is unbelievably annoying. That the dev defends this poor design with "it's a puzzle game first and foremost" is kinda lame, too. Especially since solving puzzles in puzzle games is supposed to be rewarding, and a jumpscare+health-loss-potentially-death combo is not a reward.
