When I was younger I really didn't 'get' this song. It felt hollow and lacking before. Now it feels like a suspenseful experience whose somewhat low-fi production helps the pulse of the beat really hit. It's urgent, unpredictable and tense as hell. It feels much more urgent and much more powerful than the extremely hyper-produced stuff like Skrillex, Excision and so on. (Not to dunk on them too hard, they're talented as well.) It's like a headache but in a good way. It's odd, and I think I get it now. This feels like an unusual experience- with most people I know 'aging out' of dubstep altogether. I'm gonna dive back through this channel's back catalogue to see if any other songs have the same effect on me.
