Hi Rudy, just casually watching your older videos and I gotta say, I'm rather happy to hear you come in on these subjects. I had a bit of a punch in the gut myself this year, January/February I took a massive hit in my own stock portfolio, and I ended up panicking and selling a bunch of good stock because they dropped like crazy. I didn't stick to my plan and let a fluke in the prices influence my emotions, so now im 17% down for the year and slowly working my way back up. It's a difficult journey and it is not very comforting looking at the fact that its still in the red every single day. But like you, I have diversed my money into a collectible, you being cardboard me being flat pieces of metal (old coins) and I have my eyes on a few other areas as well for good measure. Nothing left to do but wait for the market to take its course, and work on different investments in the mean time.

Hello Rudy. From all your videos this was the one i enjoyed the most by far. We live in a society where people cash in on social media by showing off beauty, or status, or money, or luck, etc. Its like nobody gets real anymore. I feel like the majority of folks really never experienced what being "in the trenches" is like. Most people just had a 9 to 5 job their whole life (which is perfectly okay and what i have these days too), but they just dont know what is like to be in an entrepreneur position where you are the engine, the driver, and the wheels, and building something plus keeping it going through your own effort and wits. I feel like that experience is mostly not valued by society at all. I was forced to take care of a company that was going under, for around 1 year. I was literally thrown into the frying pan out of nowhere. Many times i was in a bad situation due to completely unforeseen and random events that escaped my control. And then suddenly there were no good options, just some "less bad" ones that sometimes kept me awake at night, all to keep the company going, even if barely. I left the company in the same state as it was when i picked it up, in a generally dying business where most of the competitors where going bankrupt, so i guess i did okay. The company went under like a year and half later. Thanks for showing us what reality is like, and that no matter how smart or knowledgeable you are, and even if you do everything right, somethimes shit just happens. PS: There's a bridge near my house if homeless rudy needs shelter then we can talk about MTG and i'll buy you a burger once in a while if u hungry so consider it, i'll even let u touch my timmy when you eat ur burger and give you a 5 rudy bill.

Amazing video, i live in lebanon and run a company. In 2019 banks took all the money that was in the banks and completly froze it, for corporates and public accounts, our company lost a much bigger number then ur bonds ( basically our government hand in hand with our banks stole the whole population) bigger ponzy scheme in the history of mankind. Hearing you talking about life and how it can surprise u is so relatable. Any plan u have or make or percentages you think you know, one event can change all that. Now 2 years later we are strongly stabilising as a company althought the money is still frozen and i dnt think we will ever get it back. For me its gone and i have to live my life accepting this and if it comes back then its great. This also shaped me to be much stronger, to get out of a this negative way of thinking and i am no longer scared and anxious like i used to be cause i lost it all and life went on. Thank you for the video it really made my day i just got into magic the gathering physical cards 2 months ago played it for a long time online. im super later but i just love the game so much, never thought there was a community in lebanon but i did find one. As an owner of several electrical businesses that employ 50 people and 12 years ago I started WITH nothing but The tools IN THE TRUNK of my car. I love this man and what he has to say. Sometimes the path is not clear but for those FEW of us who choose to sack up and take a shot at glory I say hats off to you .
