Hello, can I ask you a question? Oops just did lol here’s another why can’t I find any information on the subject of core strand number determination? I have googled ( ok there’s half the issue… no I’m kidding lol. They didn’t give me trouble). Lol. I w@s saying I’ve googled the subject in about twenty different ways …. Nothing all I get are how to determine the amount of cord per project…. I want to know how the number of paracord strands are determined, and how we can be creative with that configuration, and the things that need to be considered when making up your own core count….that direction of learning …… hope that made sense to you. Lol. Thank you

Hi Martino! Thank you for the awesome question. Honestly I always use more cord than I need and than I'm sure I wont run out. There is no way that you can determine how much cord you gonna need for bracelet or any other paracord project. Because some bracelets are wider, some are thicker... My answer for your question how I chose the bracelet core, 2, 4, 6 or 8 strands, depends if I wanna make wider or narrower bracelets... I hope at least that I helped a little.
