Great video as always Alpha When the controller said 280 knots on conversion, conversion means when you convert from Mach to knots so typically around FL300 the aircraft does it automatically

3:32 - Jetways are a lot more popular in the US, so it's pretty rare, but there's a regional airline (Silver) we take sometimes to go downstate that flies ATRs, and they have you take stairs out to the tarmac and I have always thought it was really cool because it felt like a private airliner.

on conversion is your speed from mach to IAS ... so if he tells you speed 280kts on conversion you can either just switch to IAS on the speed window with 280 when your plane indicating 280kt's on the speed tape on the PFD .... or .... on the 737 you can do onto the DES page and type in "/280" in the TGT SPEED so it may read something like .69/280kts ... and the plane will do it for you ... hope this helps
