If alpharad's biggest complaint about blackmailer is that it reveals too much info, there's a setting that makes it so that only the blackmailed knows they've been blackmailed. everyone else would think they're just staying quiet. i think alpha should try playing some blackmailer games with this turned on.

I don't really see how that practically solves the issue. In most scenarios if the blackmailed person is directly asked something but doesn't say anything, the lobby is gonna assume they've been blackmailed. The group just doesn't seem to think it's a fun role anyways, especially when they already have enough imposter roles that reveal their existence when used.

I didn't comment this last time you commented this but now that you've done it twice I will say that I don't think this setting would work. Everyone could do a roll call at the start of each meeting, not to mention that the person who was blackmailed would probably have to mute which would give it away.

Just Mongy Vods all the time. Only think I've been noticing lately is Imposters are having a harder time cause they tend to wait too long to try and get perfect kills and end up letting crew finish tasks and get buddy, buddy. Gotta just let it rip more and hell can sometimes even pull 2 kills a round. That lose by task weight over their heads keep getting listed by a few players never doing tasks.

i'm pretty sure it shows the role in the chat in the meeting if you investigate, and you can inspect a person to see whether or not they were the person who killed when you're actually in the game (detective is pretty confusing so this might not be right)
